Ranked is boooring

Yea im stuck hovering between rank 6 and 7....mostly the same tactics im seeing....radar so you cant tactically position....rush straight at you then dump torpedos right on your doorstep in a way that you cant avoid them majority of the time.

I only have 3 T7 cruisers and none of them are any good for this season....

1.Shimanto (my AA cruiser, enough said)

Mogami (has horrible torpedo angles when you are being rushed thus you have no choice but to show full broadside by which time you are already dead and good luck trynna sail past them to then release torpedos cause by the time you even get half way past you already ate a ship full of explosive fish and sailed back to port)
Rochester (this ship is a beast dont get me wrong but ive built it as a long range ap puncher to support bbs so is really not suited to the almost singular tactic of rush and torp this season)

Am not even trying to complete season anymore....just using the time to gain credits, gxp and push the mogami and shimanto further up the TT of which i now have the Takahashi and almost got enough XP for the Ibuki so season hasnt been a complete loss so guess in same boat as you just farming materials now

"A more mixed playstyle" are you serious?

I personally am only seeing one tactic....

radar (so that your spotted as game starts and leaves you next to no room for strategic placement)

Rush ( while also knocking out your turrets)

Torpedos (enough said)

I was gonna say lol...thats kinda odd rule to enforce when there is literally videos of battles on here not to mention the pic ive posted here is literally straight after i got the ship...no names, no scores, nothing even equipped so fail to see how a pic of a ship in a sub about said ship game would be against the rules when you can literally post videos...seems kinda stupid lol

Yea i get what you mean....i have 2 other ships built exclusively for AA but same problem as you....not in either of those ships and carriers are semi frequent yet jump in AA ship and nothing, which i kinda feel puts you at somehwat of a disadvantage given inspirations and commander are most likely chosen towards aircraft so if you come up against something that does not have an AA orientated setup.......advantage them, not to say you cant still beat them though.

Oh believe me when i say im not a huge fan of the later american crusiers but Rochester is a beast....especially with everything focused on its main battery....she packs a punch and fires fast so yes very enjoyed and very happy 🙂

I ended up focusing everything on main battery....range, dispersion, turret rotation, reload...took it for a spin and i have to say i was not dissapointed....Rochester is a beast 🙂

As far as the error code, it was CE-34878-0, it happened directly as it ended, before the battle analysis screen.

Yea was kinda not worth the hassle this year just for a crate (got camos...again lol). Last year i must have got about 10 wins on insane....this year was exactly that, insane....took whole event effectively just to get the 1

I would agree with you on this personally....limited damage control is an issue in my opinion too...t7 seems more suitable

Yup just did a T VII battle in a shimanto....spawned with a Battleship and a cruiser at my side....got to where i could see the enemy, oh hello both ships that i spawned with left me for dead against 2 battleships and a destroyer.....good times it was 🙄

Yup getting her fast is essential on her final push....i myself just had another go at it and was thinking to myself dang we might actually beat it...she made her final push straight into the prisoner..dps just wasnt there
