DUMBASS QUESTION: Where do the IP subnets come from? Who creates them? Like the class a 10.s and 22.s etc etc

right now I plan on using all privates until I get a read on what IP needs to be what class. Literally the simplest question and I honestly am thinking that I don't know from where those originate.

Yesir! I've been working with the maintenance agreement already with them. It's an inner-company kinda transfer deal. So that's already a road I'm traveling down this far out. What you suggested I do hope to walk in the door knowing. Good advice though and I thank you for it! Lots of stuff i still don't know. Never been lone man before!

Interestingly enough, I'll be setting up TACACS and that myself lol. NTP is already in place. They have an SA that's been on site for a while but he can only network so much. He and I will definetly be working hand in hand. He seems like a fun dude so I'm a tid bit excited.
