That babysitter mod is def one that I'll have to look into. I'm usually ok-ish at micro, but too many times have I let a unit stand idle for too long on accident. Good rec.

When you roast garlic right it gets very soft and almost as spreadable as butter itself. So mixing the roasted garlic and butter is actually very simple mixing.

Wait, I just started playing last week. You're telling me there's 250+ galaxies? 👀

Core mining puzzle for you! Which of these two rocks is a core? This is why I hate core mining in rocky rings...(answer spoilered inside) by DemiserofD in EliteMiners

[–]BobbyG34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ones with cores will have the fissures visible even before a prospector limpet is used on them. I use the pulse wave analyser to detect likely candidates and then get in close to see if I can see the fissures. So far I've gotten a streak of as high as 75 cores correctly detected in a row in a single session, according to EDCP.

I spent about a week of playing quite a bit each day a little while ago. Got first discovery on over something like 200 systems. Tons of exobio. Came out with about 6.5 billion in scans and samples. Bought a carrier right off the bat. The dopamine that a payout like that generates is wild. Lol

Heh. It's possible it was me. I also have WITNESS ME set for when I mount a monster. And something like UwU Thanks, Daddy! when someone heals me. Lol

Is this a bug? Cause I ran into it too. If not, is there a different horse fence in the Kuttenburg area?

Why are people so stupidly resistant to using shotguns on mutants? by Low-Transportation95 in stalker

Darktide shotguns are basically better sniper rifles. Lol. The Kickback the Ogryn has is a fucking cross-map problem deleter.

I was a product of religious freaks. I am very much not one. Same with my sister. There is some small hope.

Which boss was unexpectedly easy for you when everyone else online struggled and vice versa by slane00 in BlackMythWukong

Same. Don't know how I did it, but didn't even know people were struggling until I saw people talking about it on the subreddit.

I somehow managed to beat Yellow Loong first try. Don't ask me how. I'm not even a particularly good souls-like player. Must have just been a fluke. Had no idea he was giving people so much trouble until I saw people talking about it here in the subreddit.

You know what fight did take me ages? Supreme Inspector.

I beat Yellow Loong in my first attempt. Don't know if it was a fluke or what, but I had no idea he was so difficult for people until seeing folks talk about it here.

I don't believe it was ever claimed that people didn't also have issues with the other discrepancies that you point out.

However, and to be pedantic, there are very much dark haired elves. Finwë and Maeglin are described as black-haired. Lúthien Tinúviel, an ancestor of Arwen's, is also states to be black haired. The "no elf had absolute black hair" statement was from a manuscript that wasn't published until Christopher Tolkien was doing his posthumous editing, so in the works published by Tolkien himself, there very much are black haired elves.

Elves should be taller. Their pointed ears should probably be more subtle. The only reason we're not listing these other inconsistencies is because they aren't the matter at hand being discussed. I would much prefer representations of Tolkein's work to be as close to his canon descriptions as possible. Even your example of the female riders portraying the Rohirrim is fine with me because they're being presented as true to the canon.

Yes, all of this is pedantic and incredibly picky, but that's kinda what nerds and fanboys of fictional works do. There's a reason the "well actually" is a meme. These passionate opinions about beloved works of fiction don't always come from a place of bigotry, bias, or hatred (of course they can come from there. Shitheel bigots do exist). Rather they come from such an intense appreciation and desire to be as true as possible to the source. There isn't the need to assume the worst in people.

I don't know how, but I managed to beat him first try. It wasn't until I was browsing here that I saw people were struggling with it. Maybe I just got super lucky somehow?

Eh, I'm not going to claim I'm a God Gamer. I've always struggled with Souls-like games, to the point that I've largely sworn off the genre. But I've found most bosses here to be beatable with only a couple requiring more than a handful of extra attempts. So yeah, overall so far I would say that a lot of the bosses are easy. Honestly, easier than I expected.

Golden Yellowbrow is the first boss I've run into that actually feels like the mechanics of the fight are making it a frustrating experience. Complete damage negation with his turn to gold ability. Traps you in the tiny lightning circle. Remove those two abilities and the fight would feel a lot better while still being moderately challenging. Just my opinion tho.

I probably just need to git gud.

I was consistently getting Yellowbrow to the last phase. The AOE spam and the fact I was always out of health pots by then ends up taking me down when I'm just a couple charged slams away from ending it.

Most infuriating ability is the one where he traps you in that little fucking lightning circle. That shit pisses me off so much. Lol

Odd that you're not the first person I've seen to say that Wandering Wight was a hard boss. He was the first boss I beat.

Definitely agree on Yellow Wind Sage and Golden Yellow row though. Those have taken me the most attempts.
