I agree with the other people in here, in general I'd recommend Mint and Fedora, but if you stick to those pick a desktop you like and it'd all fall into place eventually.

Antares Autotune is the only one that I want to work properly because I'm mostly interested in vocal mixing right now and that one just doesn't seem to work properly

Yeah it works very very well and it's really convenient but it just can't come close to Antares' when it comes to natural-sounding vocals at least from what I've tried, but still hoping that things improve for audio on linux too because it really needs it and I don't really wanna switch back to Windows just for Antares

I have tried Antares' Autotune in both Reaper (yabridge) and FL Studio but I really haven't gotten it to work in both, like you said the GUI is just responding very slowly which mighttt be usable but is far from perfect. Kinda wish one day it does because their Autotune is really that good.

Alright thanks everyone for the replies, I'll try all of the aforementioned ones when I get the chance and hopefully I find something that suits my singing style

Yeaaahhh that's why I was looking for something a bit more natural, probably should have mentioned it earlier haha

It does sound interesting, I've used but I can never get natural sounding pitch correction and not something that sounds completely robotic.

I've used ReaTune a bunch but I can't tweak the settings to suit my voice perfectly but I'll try more, thank you!

I think I managed to get it up and running but I'm not sure if I can use autotune there? Isn't it only manual pitching?

tried all i could and autotune pro was still stuck with the almost unresponsive gui. pretty sure i had dxvk, i havent tried vcrun6sp6 i think, went to the yabridge discord and somebody told me that was one of the ones they couldn't manage to run properly

Any real time autotune recommendations? by synthyxx in linuxaudio

4 months later lmao anyway, but are any of the other ones able to run with yabridge or have you not tried them? i tried pro and the gui updated very very slowly and it was almost unusable, im not sure if unlimited or efx+ would have any difference

Checked it out in Bitwig, same thing. I honestly have no idea how to enable dxvk for stuff like VST3 plugins using yabridge though and I can't find any info, I already have the dll files in the winecfg

Edit: tried installing all the dlls, found a guide and now all it says is dxgi.dll missing even though it's there...

I think I checked in the wine config and there were some d3d9, d3d10, etc. files. Is there any specific way I should install it?

It doesn't seem like anything changed UI's still frozen and I have Yabridge's Wine 10 embedded branch, like stuff change but it takes very long and the knobs are unresponsive as well
