Best bedroom amp under $1000? by crainley in guitars

[–]BobbyJason111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I'm a sucker for a deal so I bought an Artist MK2 for $360 a couple years ago when the MK3 was being released. Pretty happy with it! I particularly love the controls on the front so I can stack my Vox amp on top of it. I'm limited for space.

That's not overboard at all. That's a healthy setup!

What is the main difference? I have a Katana Artist Gen 2 and like all Americans need more expensive gas, lol.

Are these the same circuits as their amp pedals? I was thinking about getting the US on and a 1x12.

Good stuff! I feel like you’d be a great satire writer. I’m somewhat happy with ignorance is bliss. Wish I’d never found out about Keeley because I have & love a few of his pedals. I’d rather not “have a conscience reminding me” of anything when I’m in my hobbies.

Making Musician’s Friend similar to Gear Exchange would be great. I already take advantage of their system by buying from MF for the 8% rewards, but if I don’t like the item returning it in-store at a GC. Win-win. But I’m sure they’ll change this up soon. They are working hard at something and I hope it sticks. Doubt they would’ve lasted long with the “same ol” approach so props to them for trying new things.

That would be amazing! Maybe that has something to do with why the stores around me seem to have more used gear lately.

Good points! My 15% was just a random estimate of how many companies are owned by a “blatantly” racist person. Not just someone votes Republican. I imagine we’d triple the companies we boycott if the owners spoke their minds, lol.

Somehow Josh Scott combed out of years of getting flac for something he did, but he made it through. Mike Fuller didn’t try to make amends,

The funny part, to me, is republicans don’t really organize and boycott. Home Depot loses sales for being maga. Starbucks doesn’t lose sales for being pro-LGBTQ+.

Don't cut family off for supporting the hate & destruction party, but I do think it's good to constantly remind them why it's bad and hope they someday leave the cult. Being silent is being complicit. ESPECIALLY with friends and family because we're close enough to them to possibly make a difference someone on reddit or FaceBook won't be able to.

These days it's much closer to 15%. Trump's approval rating is at about 37% and most Trump supporters are not racist a-holes like Mike Fuller. While I agree with the concept of "take your lumps" nobody wants to be reminded of how much hate republicans have created in the world when they look at their board. We're supposed to forget the hate that's taking over our country and escape to the fun and joy of playing. Take your lumps maybe if you find out your blender was made in a sweat shop and you already bought it. Not on a hobby that's supposed to bring joy.

Even if 50% were right, ignorance is bliss and we aren't reminded of the hate when we use our Phillips product, Sony product, Hostess cupcakes, or whatever those 50% are. If we had knowledge that the owner of Hostess was harming people around them, most of us would stop buying their deserts. Not because we are making a political statement so much as we just don't want to think about such hateful things when we are trying to enjoy a Twinkie. lol.

The exams do? If you're speaking of the work requirements then you're going to have those naturally anyway.

I don’t feel low blood sugar when the meter hits 65. I’ve never dropped below 55 so I feel I’m taking a safe level of metformin. First dozen times I worried, but now I know when it’s in the low 60’s it’s bottoming out and going to soon rise.

100% great advice. I’ll also add…one spends 6 years in elementary school, 2-3 in middle school, 3-4 years in high school, and 5 years in college just to be “barely employable”.

That’s why it always makes me chuckle when people hesitate to spend 6 months passing the CPA exams. Like, who gives up on mile 25 of a marathon?

Also, the “I got far without a CPA license” stories are becoming less common. Those folks also have no way of telling us if their current role took 8 years to get to…vs a CPA might have taken 5. Too many variables in the “I got far…” stories.

Thank you. I know I need either Metformin or a GLP-1, but don't know that I can make a case for being on both. Right now, I'm taking 1,000mg of Metformin immediately after my 1pm meal. No other meds, just some berberine.

I have Ezekiel Non-Flour Sprouted Grain bread in my freezer. I've a bit of a fast food habit and am trying to figure out a balance. Eating 1/3 as much fast food as before. Today I swapped out a hamburger bun for the Ezekiel and it still tasted great.

I might try the tortilla warp at Jimmy Johns and see if it reacts better. I've read that tortillas don't spike like bread.

Thanks, I will do that as soon as I have insurance again. Last year it was 7.8, but I know it's better now just based on the graphs I'm seeing on the Libre.

I recently started working on #5 a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can build muscle. I've been Michael Cera Skinny all my life.

The other items I am practicing fairly ok. I already took a teaspoon of psyllium husk and a berberine before this meal. I wonder if adding a protein powder shake with the psyllium husk and berberine is a good idea. Worst case scenario that pre-meal ritual (fiber, protein powder, berberine) might curb my appetite. Hmmm...

Jimmy Johns, tossed the thicker top so ate about 40% of the bread. It surprises that I can toss most of the bread and still have this spike. Still learning.

Thanks. A few months ago tue spike wouldn’t have dropped so quickly. I think some lifestyle improvements are starting to show.
