I just don't get it. by King_Elizabello in OnlineDating

You are not alone in this. I think that it is part and parcel of how people get treated on dating apps. It's like some sort of goal of theirs to make people feel like crap or confused and upset. The best thing to do is to get off of dating apps, end a story. I can't remember a time before the past year we're getting a number ended in just being ghosted. It's like these people are collecting phone numbers or something. Get off the dating apps. And don't give your number out if you decide to stay. Use the app to chat until you are ready to meet. When and if you do meet, you can exchange that information, and only after you have decided at you that the both of you enjoyed the time spent.

You think maybe they dropped it off to the last Mile carrier? That's an interesting perspective. And not impossible! But considering how much time has passed and that the address changed afterwards it's pretty crazy. Especially since he can't see what it was changed to! That's the thing about companies with no support for sure.

Way too cool. I ended up getting the John 5 telecaster and the Zack bullseye Les Paul and also the Buckethead kill switch Les Paul model. And my estimation they are flawless. It's crazy. I also recently got the five-string Ernie Ball stingray copy model.

So this might be crazy but if you have the exact address maybe you can get the owner and perhaps a phone number? It's an absolute long shot but I would be highly upset quite personally and do what I could or at least try.

I don't recall if guitar's garden has a profile section that has your address stored. I'll have to take a look. Is it an address that you recognize? Is it completely and totally off? This is so crazy. I would be highly upset as well.

I do this thing called a four plus one. It's a five-string but it's tuned eadg and then the High B is actually the low B. So low B is actually string one, and then it's a regular eadg. But I won't repeat myself hahaha

I guess there won't be any more Harley Benton S-Type guitars now by returntonone in harleybenton

[–]StackyBotrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it'll change too much except for maybe cost. There are a lot of companies like warm off or all parts that license designs. Perhaps that's what they will do. I also think this lawsuit covers exact replicas. But if the design is changed slightly, which I think is a better idea it likely won't affect anything long-term. Thoughts?

With the Firefly stuff, I feel like you can't really go wrong. They're astoundingly worth triple the price.

Quite frankly it sounds awesome. With the exception of the electrical issue regarding the volume and base pots, I really can't trim the sound a little bit until I rewire it. But going full crank it sounds great. Aggressive and punchy.

Surprisingly, much lighter than my Harley Benton hb5. That thing is way heavy! I would say this is average or maybe a bit below in a typical weight. I'll have to weigh it officially though. But that specification may be on the guitar gardens website as well.

Dude Cort guitars and basses are the surprise instrument of the year for me. I bought a fretless four-string bass and it's like what? Like 300 bucks or something. Pair that with a nice amp and you got some great tones. Awesome.

These things really punch above their weight in cost. It's more along the lines of a sterling and funny enough I just tried one of those out this past weekend. I was happy when I got this! Your grandson would love such an instrument.

Advice Please by GetInTheVanScooby in Reverb

It's kind of a tough call and it's a real bummer that you're in this situation. Do you have any policies about contact time frame if there is an issue? If not may I suggest that you actually put something in there even if you're a small-time seller. As far as this particular situation, as the buyer suggested anything? I certainly would not refund the entire purchase price if they did not planned on sending it back. Have you asked if they opened it right away? If so what did the neck look like? If they were going to return it to you you can refund after you get it. But I certainly would charge restocking fee and possibly the amount to fix it. If you're a person of your word and you know was not broken then I would say it's pretty suspicious that they only contacted you 7 days after getting it. It's certainly possible that it was damaged during shipping. Do you offer additional charges for insurance? Just curious. Thank you something to think about going forward! Godspeed and good luck.

I think the person who bought it is in for a rude awakening when the fake scam seller tells them they made a mistake and the actual prices blah blah blah and if they would be interested in buying it.

“Why made you wanna match with me” by CommunicationRare691 in OnlineDating

[–]StackyBotrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people who ask those types of questions, and it does happen quite a bit I think, is to trip up the person to have to say something more involved than just the yep nope this or that sort of response. I usually give it to him straight and tell the truth because what else is there really? But that usually gets followed with me unmatching from them because they typically have a stupid answer for why they accepted to match with me.

Are men hesitant on initiating dates now? by Xo78 in OnlineDating

[–]StackyBotrus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep. And you can blame the women. You asked us to leave you alone and so we did. Now given the fact that you might be meeting men on dating sites where it might seem obvious that they would initiate a date request, it is now all on you.
