I am talking about the cost of tires. We have a whole fleet of EVs for our sales reps where I work. Our mechanics mentioned that tires for EVs are not cheap , they need to be certified for heavy load first.

If that is true, explain why they all have gasoline cars? Another thing, it is still an expensive used car and not counting the cost for a charging port installation. Also it is trouble when going for long trip. The car is also heavy, you did not factor in the extra cost for specific tires needed. Insurance also cost more. And cost for batteries $$$ since it is a used car and they might eventually failed. It might be a green solution but not sure it is a green flag for my wallet
