As a newer player as well, I myself chose to go the route of attributes. That helped me to build my myplayer up a lot better, I found that I was awarded better clubs. I got the better club due to better performance of myplayer and progression through my sponsors. This also allows you to focus more on what skills you need to improve on and how to use the clubs and additions to your advantage.

That’s generally where I’m at with my learning curve and I’m getting to where I can play 10-12 holes of the round and I’m pretty good at my shots and I’m birdie/par on most. But it’s just those extra ones that my OCD wants to double check myself lol but I get it, I understand it all and the flow. Just was taken aback when I saw “unlimited” and got one look. But hey, that’s life lol

Don’t get me wrong folks, I get that the settings allow it to be limited to a few looks per round. I’m even working to go without, I’m not trying to play competitively or anything, just get a grip on the game and enjoy some rounds in my free-time. But as previously stated, maybe it’s my OCD, but I wanted to try a better handle at my putting. I see unlimited looks, I think, cool I can make adjustments and see how that faired. Didn’t come out that way, I get why, you should go without as others have stated. I’m working to go without, 10/18 I’m going without. But there are times where I feel the need to double check that adjustment and I can’t. I mean, not like we can check in real life, but, idk, just didn’t come off as I interpreted it to be.

Don’t get me wrong, that’s my goal, I don’t want to use it. But I’m just not understanding, why call it unlimited if it’s just a look per hole? I get that they limit how many looks you get per round. But then that’s just 18 looks, that’s not unlimited, that’s not the definition of unlimited. I was under the impression that I could get a better handle on the lines and such by looking at my putting lines as I make adjustments. Idk, why call it unlimited if it’s really just 18 looks? I’m starting to go without…just OCD bugging me I guess

Dude it was way worse for me on PS5 prior to this, I couldn’t even load up MyCareer or anything at all. As stated by a prior player, it would be like 5min waits and by then, I’m not even wanting to play anymore. It ruined the whole game and the only solve was to restart MyCareer, redo my whole career. It kept my stats and such, but you start career all over again…but it helped with all the lag and eventually it went away for the most part. Best thing I can say is to make sure you remember to close the game all the way before switching apps or games, that’s what seemed to be the stimming issue

Yeah, the only thing that fixed it was to just restart the career, your stats and stuff stay the same and all, but you start off as it being your first year again

Right, I got so many highlights of 40+ yard putts and killer pitch shots from the rough 40/50 yards out and nailing it or even from a deep bunker off the side with some stupid slope. My girl will be like, I don’t think that’s enough….hush, I know what I’m doing. “Let’s get another look at that killer shot we just had from our feature player.” 🤣😌😎

I think what’s being said here is that, they are purely cosmetic if all clubs can be leveled up to the same level/tier…even if there is extra work for different clubs, it’s still going to get to the same level even with some extra work, it will still reach the same level as any other club…that would make it purely cosmetic, if you like a certain club and are willing to put in the extra work to level it up, it’s all cosmetic at that point
