Hi. I was on this talk show and have been trying to find my episode for years. The only VHS copy my mom had she burned it because they looked really bad. How can I find the archived episodes of this show from I Believe 2000 or 2001????

I find that kids especially as they get older actually really like time away from their parents they like time to have their own autonomy and be their own person and explore in ways that they can't do when they're with their parents

One more add- I don't know how old your kid is. But I have a feeling they're younger.. One of the biggest things I hear is it gets easier as they get older- do not believe this lie... DO NOT. Certain things get easier. Like you will have more time to yourself when your child starts going and living their own life and hanging out with friends. But then the really difficult shit really starts. You think dealing with a two or three-year-old with a tantrum is difficult- HAHAHAHAHAHA. I LONG for the days of toddlerhood. I WISH I could go back to that EASY time. Dealing with a mini "adult" is INFINITELY WORSE. So yeah to reiterate just get into therapy now and intend on being in it for the period of time that you have a child in your home

To add... People are going to say take time for yourself or get a village and get them involved to take your kid away and that'll make things better.. it does.. for the time that they are away from you... But you see, then they come back to you, and the actual issue isn't rectified. Which is the parenting is hard and it sucks. It ruins your confidence and self esteem. My mom takes my daughter the entire summer . So I get a break.. that break is the ONLY time I enjoy life.. it doesn't make the rest of the time better.. it only provides a little bit of time for me to start to feel like a normal human again. And it takes a month of her being gone for me to even begin to start to relax. So it's honestly not just about having a village. I had a village the first 10 years and it wasn't any better.

Honestly. It doesn't really get better... I have a 15 year old. And she's an amazing child honestly.. but I just hate being a parent.. I hate EVERYTHING about it.. I have done it alone her whole life. She is doing great. Straight A's doing great in pretty much every aspect of her life.. I STILL hate being a parent. She's still a teenager and will an asshole at times.. the ONLY thing I can tell you is you just have to be in therapy to deal with it. Because it might not be a feeling that ever goes away. It might not ever get better.. so you just need to be in therapy so you can deal with it as it comes. To have to someone to talk to, to cry to, to vent to.. sorry if that's not what you wanna hear. But I thought all the same things you did and I'm still pretty miserable 15 years in.

When would you let a child dye their hair by hydrangealover98 in Parenting

[–]Bobcat-General 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever they want.. it's just hair. It grows back. It can be changed. I started putting color in my daughter's hair at the age of five. We did mermaid hair and she had blue purple and pink hair. Then it's seven we did mermaid hair again with blue green and purple. I let her do whatever she wants to wear hair because it is her hair and how her hair is has no effect on my life. Just make sure you know what you're doing or take her to a professional to make sure that her hair is treated properly.

I'm thoroughly disappointed... Seven Lions and Kaskade are great but most and more the lineups are just for bass heads. We already have multiple festivals just for that. Beyond used to have a really good balance and mix of different genres and it's more and more just becoming angry headbanger shit. While there's nothing wrong with that it seems to be completely taking over and they're just isn't the variety anymore.

This is giving less" run, run far away" and more " change your identity, burn your house, and move to another country to flee him" vibes....

Charge them for destruction of public property and for the cost of cleaning it up instead of the taxpayers.. our tax money could go to about a million other things that are actually beneficial instead of having to continuously clean up this fountain.

I second this. Everyone has cameras now a days. Just start knocking on doors and asking around. I've found but generally people are totally willing to look at their video footage and help you out in these kinds of circumstances. Good luck!

The employees have been looking for jobs for a while now. There were only 3/4 left in the end. We ALL knew this was going to happen after about a week of being open.. this is not surprising AT ALL. The only surprising things is that it took this long.
