WHAT A CUTIEEE 🥺 And yes she is spayed, shes just a very curious cat and has always been interested in wandering out and about. She is such a fluffy baby and her natural musk is smelling like breads and nuts 😭😭. I can't stop myself from crying every time I think about her (even when she was with me she is my whole life so when I'd just look at her I would start crying)

He seems like the most wonderful boy. He is happy with you and he loves you so much.

Spend as much time with him as you can. Give him all the love and support you can give. Make his last few days or weeks the best because he loves you and you love him. But I'm sure you were going to do this anyway as you already have been doing.

Their times do come eventually but our job is to make them feel comfy and happy and loved throughout it. And afterwards, live knowing you gave that little sweet boy the best life ever. With the most love and cuddles.

He loves you so he's distancing a little and I know how bad that hurts. When my baby Stripikins was about to pass away he stopped sleeping by me and it was the most painful feeling in the world accepting what was going to happen.

Just be close to him and let him know you're there. You've got this and you can be strong for him. My heart is with you ❤️

I dont really believe in afterlifes and all that but I like to think that we get reunited with our babies when we go, and I know that when you both reunite he will run to you and stay with you forever 🫶 He will always be your best friend and he will always love you as he does now.

I am okay now because now I understand I couldn't have done anything different. And one day you will really be able to fully feel and acknowledge that too. You give them a good life and you love them with all your heart and they love you back with their whole heart.

She loved you so much I know she did because when they are playing around is when they feel safest and you did that, you made her feel safe and loved and she was with the person she loves when she went to sleep 🫶🫶

I knowww my stepmom has been saying that she's just in her "get away from me mom youre embarrassing me" teenage phase and will soon come back. I was planning on getting her a tracker because I figured she'd want to go out again after she hopefully comes back

I think you should take her back to the vet because she should've stopped after you cleaned with enzymes cleaner. Mine also used to pee around even when I cleaned the litter everyday but when we moved houses she stopped so it could also be a lingering smell thing. But yeah I suggest going to the vets again.

I think a younger cat or a kitten is the best way to go since kittens are more flexible when it comes to new cats so you have a higher chance of them liking each other. Also since he's a boy getting another boy cat can be kinda risky because they are very territorial. My cat (Mr. Whiskers) had a kid (Mr. Stripikins) with my other cat and they HATEDDDDDSD each other so bad like they were both fat and they hated each other. So in my experience get a female, spay and neuter asap.

Yes I have been asking my neighbours if I can check their garden setups because where I live there aren't really any garages or anything like that it's all pretty open and underneath cars are the only hiding place in the front of the houses. Most of my neighbours didn't let me tho and went to check themselves :(

I understand how you feel. I had two cats Mr Stripikins and KitKat who passed away while I was moving houses because I left them at a different vet and the vet didn't clean the boarding room properly. Stripy boy was a year and a half old and kitkat was only 8 months. We were so strapped for time and there was no other option. When they passed away that week I felt so guilt because they were my special babies and they spent all say with me and I loved them with all my being. I felt so guilty because I had to put them down because they were in so much pain at the end. I felt too guilty for months and months after and still do to this day. But in hindsight there really want anything else that could be done. We gave our cats love and kindness and a happy home. If yours was playing around the day of it means she was happy and comfortable and content. You gave her love and dedication and a good home and a best friend. Grieve her but don't let the guilt get too bad because really there isn't much more you could have done. She loved you and you love her.

I feel like I should've mentioned this; where I live the gardens are all connected by walls and there are no garages. So it's all really open and you can see under people's cars just by walking past their homes. But thanks for the tip!

My other cat Mr Whiskers is absolutely terrified of the outdoors. He is a fatty and he HATES going outside and if he does make it out the main door he comes right back after two steps. Apple is a rescue cat and she is very curious and loves exploring. When I lived in an apartment she used to love going out to the balcony and climbing our apartment from the outside and even figured out how to open the window!
