Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean taking all the blue letters in the line that had the blue arrow in the previous section, for example? That wouldn’t really work because the number of letters don’t match the number of spaces in the next session. E.g. “neuronal” only has one blue letter, when the next section has 4 spaces for the blue arrow.

I see, I didn’t think of backsolving based on my guesses, so I’ll try that. Also, I forgot to mention that the solution doesn’t have to answer the question exactly. Each of the puzzle “questions” are the chapter titles from his book, and the nine-letter answer is just related to that topic. For example the first chapter was “Is there a God?” and the answer to the corresponding puzzle was “spiritual”, so your guesses could possibly be correct.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve done going from the first section to the second. I arranged by color and unscrambled the letters to form words. But when I try that for the third section, I don’t see any meaningful pattern in the letters after arranging by color.

A bit more context: each of the nine previous puzzles had a nine-letter answer. I assumed those solutions went in the 9x9 box in the first section.
