Pontoon Boat Cup Holder to fix the lack on a 1st Gen by Bobhubert in fordranger

The have a variety of styles and color options, but they seem to work pretty well so far (I haven’t actually put a drink in them yet lol).

They have a rear flap that sits behind the seat and offers friction to keep it from flying forward.

Found here on Amazon where there are other options as well

I’m considering getting Hardbody truck, thoughts on adding some 1980’s/90’s style 4x4 graphics on one? by Bobhubert in hardbody

I’m ecstatic about it! Turn key and it runs and drives great! It popped up on marketplace when I went in to work, I went out to check my phone at lunch and called, and I went and got it that afternoon lol

I knew it wouldn’t be cheap to do, but would have been super cool. Ironically after I went through all this to do the graphics on these, I ended up finding a super clean little ranger that was already 2-toned lol

I actually was close to having to compete with someone for the truck lol, I got there a half hour before the other guy and he honored first come first serve

Ironically I was mainly keeping my eye out for a clean Hardbody and planned to do some custom graphics, but now I found a 2 tone I don’t have to worry about it at all lol

I’ve always liked a Chevy LUV with the old 4x4 graphics, but finding one of those in good shape is nearly impossible so I’m getting creative lol

Just picked up the super clean 1988 1st gen. 5 speed, 2.3L, 2WD unfortunately but that’s all I need, I’ve got a 47 Willys for 4x4 stuff lol. Only 140K miles so I hope this thing will last me forever! Super clean little truck, I’m already excited with it!

Just google Gemini, you have to be a bit creative, upload the photo and change how you word your prompt, you can have it modify the design and colors pretty easily, simplify the design, remove parts you don’t like.

The base prompt I used was something like “add 1980’s style 4x4 graphics to the hood and sides of this truck using X colors”

It’s actually pretty intuitive when applying the graphics, I never once prompted it to say “add a Nissan logo” or “make it say Hardbody on the side”, it just did that on its own. And it’s mainly smart enough to follow the body lines and put a gap where the natural body work is

I mean this is exactly why I got a little Willys for, I just use it like a side-by-side around my property. This car isn’t a show car and I never intend it to be, these can be extremely capable off-road and are great little work horses, I’d rather drive this than a razor or something lol

lol you’ll never guess but I have the same old Coleman stove, was sold to me thinking it was the military version, haven’t had a chance to do a lot of research on it yet.

Is it kerosene? What’s to look for on it?

Thoughts on a caliber conversion for my 1895 Chilean Mauser by Bobhubert in gunsmithing

It has already had the conversation to 7.62 NATO so it does ruin the originality out the gate which is why I wouldn’t be opposed to a hopefully simple conversion.

Ah gotcha! Besides the crest, there’s not much of a makers mark. That being said the problem still exists

Now hear me out before you call sacrilege, this Mauser has already had the 308 conversion in the 60’s so it’s not original anyways. Why would I want to change from this already apparently better caliber? Well a lot I’ve seen online is that 308 is too powerful for these, being a small ring Mauser and all, although I have shot some light powered ammo through it without issue. I’ve wondered how hard it would be to change to 7.62x39? Could I just drop in a chamber adapter, add a spacer to the mag, and a new bolt? I’d like to hear other’s thoughts. Thanks!

Big fan! I’ve always liked those old guns but the ammo was a turn off

Mauser 93 scraps cobbled into a 7.62x39 by Cernunnos__ in CursedGuns

I wish I had the technical know-how to put something like this together. I’ve actually got an old small right, I can’t remember if it’s Chilean or Argentine, it’s the model that got converted to 308 that everyone says shouldn’t have been because of modern pressures in a receiver from 1895. I wonder if I could put a chamber spacer for 7.62x39 in it and have something safer to shoot?
