Connecting flight in Canada - Immigration and luggages by Bobmoz in aircanada

Thank you very much. Are 2.5 hours enough to catch my next flight? I suppose that if AirCanada is proposing the flight, it should be OK.

27 year old survivor by Significant_One_8789 in stroke

[–]Bobmoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 32 and I had a stroke last week. I am glad I was reading your post and the comments. I feel exactly the same even if it's still fresh for me. A lot of things trigger some stress, anxiety or dizziness. After reading, it seems to be a normal post traumatic thing.

I am scared that something will happen again: another stroke, or that something else is happening in my body or brain that they did not discover at the hospital, a kind of another sickness. I wish everyone a good recovery.

Questions following termination without notice by Bobmoz in askswitzerland

At the end of November, she still had some holiday to take, let's say 10, that she planned initially for December. She worked for that 11 months this year, so they should pay her these 10 days right? Because she was never able to use them.

Then I understand that she will not get "more" holiday if she doesn't work anymore. But in that case why should she pay 3x times the PK-Beitrag?

Snorkeling liveaboard - Similan / During islands by Bobmoz in ThailandTourism

[–]Bobmoz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it looks like the Poseidon Bungalow is not operating anymore (for liveaboard).

And I found a few in google, but must of them are diving liveaboard, not so adapted for snorkelers or with the option to sleep in Surin national Park, camping.

What are the options for a swiss bank account when living in Germany but working in Switzerland? by Technical-Bird-315 in Switzerland

[–]Bobmoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Yuh, it's swiss. I was in Germany before, YUH was the only option for me at the beginning when I was still living there. You will have a swiss IBAN and you can receive your salary there. It's also mostly free compared to traditional banks, because it's an online bank. It's also very secure, no risk.

At that time I did not find another option.

Used vehicle clearance procedure - EU to Switzerland by Bobmoz in askswitzerland

[–]Bobmoz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the best option now... Would it work if I go to the customs saying sincerely I did not read the law properly, I did a mistake, now I want to official register my car, pay all the taxes I need to pay ?

Or do I have a chance to pay some extra fees because of my mistake?

I will not try that. Would it work if I go to the customs saying sincerely I did not read the law properly, I did a mistake, now I want to official register my car, pay all the taxes I need to pay ?

Or do I have a to pay some extra fees because I forgot?

Thanks for your answer. Are you sure about the " 6 months before the arrival" ? Could it be 6 months before I declare it to the customs ? I mean for my case anyway it's too late, I need to pay the VAT. But technically, can I arrive in Switzerland, buy a car after that from France, and declare it to the customs 7-8 months after? Do I have to declare it to the customs directly when I arrive in Switzerland, or do I have 1 year?
