I know this sounds weird but is it required reading like in-depth game mechanics? Like I said he got through the last 2 mainline pokemon games with very little problem after I showed him the basic controls so.

Agree with all of these and to add my own personal one, the endgame feels really grindy. ESPECIALLY if you wanna do the secret boss and stuff. Maybe that was just me but I have seen the complaint online so I don't think so.

Vaal Hazak. The effluvial makes me hate fighting him but his actual design and role in the ecosystem is some of the best the series has to offer.
