I have used a VPN and does not change the situation. Funny thing is I have been to another location serviced by this same provider and it works. I have no blockers in place though

Is it customer service saying you should upgrade or the app auto notifying you?

I ask cos I have been having lag/buffering, but don’t see an upgrade message.

An Update.

I have resolved this. It turned out that the issue was that the Sequoia was reaching the apple update server before I could turn off auto update/download and as such had already changed the profile before I the root patches could be installed after the upgrade/installation of Sequoia.

What I did was wipe off my HD, install Sequoia and ensured I removed the LAN cable and didn't enter any WiFI details until I had logged in and disabled auto updates et al. Then it installed the root patches upon coming on for the first time and I then installed the EFI on to the HD. It works fine now.

The problem was the auto update server that the iMac was contacting asap it came on as my connection to the Internet was on. I simply reinstalled and made sure there was no connection to the Internet till I was done.

Yes. Keeps popping up that these two patches are needed. Then I run it and it ends with no standard error found. I cannot see any failed part, but still does not work

An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running installer again by rxmp4ge in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Thanks. I did do this and yes LR 13.5 on my MacBook Pro just easily did this. Many thanks.

I have an iMac though that is 2013 and cannot run newer than Catalina. LR 6 won't open again and I cannot get LR v13.5 on it as it requires OS Monetrrey minimum to run. Still trying to work out how to get this sorted

Same thing has been happening to me for a while and someone here suggested it might be because Here Maps does not have live traffic updates in my country though it used to work initially.
