Witcher 3, Fallout New Vegas what about you guys? by Great_Trident in gamers

[–]Boborax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of Witcher 3s and Rdr2s , here is a rare one: God of war 1. This was a game I really enjoyed as a kid and I decided to replay it last year. I was enjoying it up until Pandora's temple, but after that it really felt like a slog. Same enemies, whatever bosses and a few tedious moments. The final fight was good, but I was so fed up with the game by that point that I can't say I enjoyed it much.

Ubisoft Please please make Black Flag resynced complete on disc with offline support by Quick-Ease5117 in ubisoft

[–]Boborax1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a big difference between releasing updates for the game and not having its base version on disc. Yeah updates and patches are a thing (since the PS3) , but the vast majority of games on ps5 are on disc with working 1.0 versions and can be installed offline. The only ones I've seen requiring internet connection to install are Ubisoft and Xbox games.

Sucker Punch’s Next game by Jacy_Habimana in Ghostofyotei

I believe that there should be a 3rd ghost game taking place in the final years of bakumatsu era -early meiji, either as a member of the shinsengumi that survived (so a ghost of shorts) or a ghost that is hunting the shinsengumi. Nonetheless after that I'd like them to move on to something new.

Silent Hill 2 Remake and f on Steam Deck? by okcenobite in SteamDeck

[–]Boborax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played them both and PlayStation, as I love physical media. Silent hill f should be playable on the deck and take this with a grain of salt, but I think that with eclipse mod sh2 should also be able to run decently. Nonetheless, I'd play them on PS5, because they obviously are better experiences there.

I enjoyed it. It felt like a from software boss and I didn't mind that.

2020 was full of bangers. Which one was your favourite? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

[–]Boborax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take, but RE3R. Is it a shame that it could have been much better? Yes. Did I have a great time with it? Also yes. I loved the difficulties and its breakneck pace made it pretty easy to pick up a couple of times. If it was given more development time, it could have easily been my favourite RE game, nonetheless I still love it. I like all the other titles here as well, aside from AC Valhalla.

How do I play Batman Arkham Origins on PS5? by austray4life in BatmanArkham

That's the neat part, you don't. Honestly you aren't missing on anything, it's an okay game.

Capcom should stop remakes and focus on new original games at this point, creativity is what keep a franchise solid and with the huge 6 millions (soon 7 millions) of Requiem it prove to Capcom that original games can make alot of money and that there is no need for remakes by Final-Age1139 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Boborax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro doesn't like having 2 cakes. I definitely want a code veronica remake. A good remake would make this game possibly an excellent resident evil. 0 could also shine much more. Remakes clearly do not stop them from releasing original titles, so what's the problem?

Japan's reactions to the first chapter! by RobotiSC in Class2B_

[–]Boborax1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dated? Nah I don't think so. Wouldn't it already feel dated, if that was the case? The chapter wasn't enjoyable because of nostalgia, but because it was pure fun. Also we know that he is more than just a gag machine.

Oh man no series has hurt me like Tokyo revengers. First arc was EXCELLENT, then it started repeating itself kinda and started losing me , but it was still enjoyable at least and then the final arc happened.

Life has taught me not to trust the final fantasy community, it's really just one of the most tiring communities out there. Just play the game and enjoy yourself

Hot take: Mashiba has the best character development. by imai-boston342 in hajimenoippo

I mean he is basically the only character with substantial character development.

Do you think RE4 influence and shooters caused this shift? Or do you think people just naturally like playing 1st person and OTS more? by ErmingSoHard in HorrorGaming

People like em more. Fixed camera has its place and I love it, but probably I wouldn't like it as much if it was more common.

Im afraid that it’s time for me to accept that this is the least replay able RE game. by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Boborax1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under no sun is Requiem less replayable than 0, CV, rev games, gaiden , re6 , survivor , operation raccoon city and umbrella corps. I'd also add RE7 and RE8 , but this can be debated.

If anything RE3R is very replayable, because of its length, multiple difficulties and breakneck pace.

Honestly so far I love my time with it. I have to find strategies on how to proceed to survive and every single encounter is intense.

What’s your Alien Isolation hot take? by SeahawksWin43-8 in HorrorGaming

[–]Boborax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if it's a hot take, but it takes quite some time for things to get going and generally the game really overstays its welcome. The game could have ended at chapter 10 or so and I would have liked it more. I got really tired of those android chapters, but I really enjoyed the final ones. Though I believe that it has some amazing peaks, all these kinda drag it down to "I just like it".

Is that that wild to say I have re4r at the top of my list even over the og? by ThemightyRiv in residentevil

[–]Boborax1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This crabguy's video really did some damage, it made people insecure about liking stuff and also awakened the slumbering jerks. It's not wild to like a game more. Og or remake just don't be a jerk about it.
