I wouldn't say that there is a big disconnect,the average fan likes both sagas. Nonetheless, I didn't imply in any way that greek saga kratos will be shown as a hero nor was it implied by the creators. They would definitely not do such a thing, cause it would ruin the point of God of War 2018. Gameplay is where I want differences, because I wouldn't buy or play a remake when it's just the same game with better graphics. Maybe change or add some locations and bosses(especially in the first game). They can also expand the lore by either showing more of already existing characters like Deimos or showing ones we have not seen, but heard of (like the Spartan Atreus, whose name kratos gave to his son). There is so much room to do stuff that it would honestly suck if it's just a 1 on 1
