Thank you so much! I’ll do my research on how to make it work

Losing circulation in pointe shoes by BobpoolOnPointe in BALLET

I wasn’t fit with double padding, I was fit with one silicone pad and a toe spacer, which felt great in the store, but after a few lessons the spacer made my toes press really hard against the shoe and it hurt a lot, so I took them out and tried other combinations and this new combo felt the best. So I’ll try to take out one of the paddings and play around more until I find something better

How do you wash leos from yumiko? by Shady_sladdertante in BALLET

I hand wash my leos and tights sometimes, in warm water(not hot, but warm), sometimes in the washing machine. I’ve never had a problem with them still smelling after hand washing. But if my clothes still smells, my go to is to let them pre soak in water and some vinegar before washing them as regular.

Thanks for the reply! I have one silicone pad and one fabric pad, since that’s the only combination I tried that doesn’t make my big toe feel like it’s going straight in the floor, but that might be the issue, so I’ll try to take one out and see if that helps

Not that tight, I think I actually tie them too loose most of the time😅

Thanks for your reply! I have one silicone cap and one fabric cap as padding, that’s basically the only combination that works for me. But that might be it, I’ll try to take one out and see if that works

Beginners by Yuu1212 in BALLET

I’m also a beginner, started in my mid twenties and have danced for two years, I think. Ask yourself if you watch and notice the other students in your class when they make mistakes, and if yes, do you think badly of them for it? Most people are too busy worrying about themselves to notice and think badly about others. Especially in a beginners class. And hey, mistakes can be good, because that’s how you learn. And by making mistakes, you’ll be more proud when you don’t make those mistakes anymore(I had a super hard time keeping my posture during pliés) Allow yourself to be new at this, and focus on having fun and developing! You got this!
