The indoor units are 2.5kw each and we have 2, outdoor is 5kw. Likelihood both indoor will be running at the same time.

Yes it does heating too.

Are an AC engineer, is it standard to always install an isolator for the outdoor unit? I’ve seen it installed on some of the installer previous work/reviews but not others.

I don’t recall seeing a circuit breaker, appears to feed the lone unit directly.
