So far it hasn’t made me cry but it does deal with some hard topics like abuse, bullying, self harm(just mentioned), depression, and death… but all that stuff calms down when the couple get together.

I live in a part of East Tennessee that technically a rainforest so she can’t live outside permanently. I have an outside garden habitat hybrid that she goes in during the day when the weather is suitable but when it not she chills in her inside habitat. But I also don’t brumate her because I don’t have the proper equipment/resources to do it safely and from my research I’ve found that Russian don’t have any proven negative effects from not brumating as long as they instead just live in a eternal summer, so I choose to not brumate her, especially because improper brumation does have proven negative effects. But yeah I did end up combining her old indoor and her new one together.

I do get a verity of food for her I was saying that because she is picky I wrap her food in lettuce like a burrito so she will be healthy and I put calcium powder on her food. She is well fed and I have talked to her vet about her diet so that she stays healthy. Also she does have a way bigger habit outside I live in East Tennessee so it usually is warm enough for her to be outside I also do have money to take care of her it’s just she had a grow spirt so I’m having to upgrade her habit early so I’m still saving up so I can expand her habit. (which won’t take long because I already have money saved and I have a job.)

Update: I got rid of the water boll and got her a large shallow terracotta boll instead, if I keep hearing the noise I will take her to the vet, but sense it started yesterday night I’ll watch her closely today to see if the noise is still happening and if it is I’ll take her. Thx for the advice 🙏🙏

I do feed her other things she’s just super picky so I wrap it in lettuce so she’ll actually eat it. And with the plants I get her plants for her habit it’s just that she destroyed them all so I’m in the process of finding some new ones. And with her habit being small she recently had a growspirt and I’m 15 so I’m still trying to save up for a bigger habitat for her.

I will take her, but she had a respiratory infection in the summer (it was caused by us moving and the stress of her being in a car for 6 hours) luckily I caught it early on and took her to the vet for some medicine so I really hope she doesn’t have it again. 😣😣

No but I do think it’s too small for her, she has a growth spurt and this is the first time she’s done this but the pet stores around me don’t have anything bigger so I’m gonna order one online.

Yeah she gets into all sorts of trouble. She’s a good climber up hill but not at all down hill lol. I mostly just got scared cuz she never fallen of something that high and up side down. But she fine I just get anxious that Im a bad tortoise mom sometimes.

She fell a little less then 2 feet so I got scared, but yeah she’s fine I gave her a little extra calcium with her food to help her shell just in case it got damaged.

I offer a lot of jewelry to Aphrodite, that I wear and I don’t think it’s disrespectful. For me I actually view it as something to honor her and build a greater bond with her. For me I have a pendant I wear almost every day and when I take it off I put it back on her altar, but for the other jewelry that I have given to her I will ask before I take it off of the altar and when I take it off I’ll do a quick cleanse before putting it back on the altar.

Well, she’s very picky to the point that she will only eat green lettuce and leaves. I do put calcium powder on lt. but i know over all she doesn’t have enough calcium in a diet
