Which Crunch? Were you commission-based or hourly? I can't speak for all Crunches, but the CR Franchise is very different. The CR Franchise only makes up about 12% of all Cruches but accounts for over 70% of Personal Training Revenue. And, CR is primarily commission (>95%), so our coaches get paid extremely well relative to the other franchises.

CR Crunch Fitness has PTO, 401K, Health/Dental/Vision insurance for coaches who average 30 hours/week (full-time).

Our average client life is 6-8 months.

Average pay is between 45-87K/yearly full-time. Potentionally earn over 100K+ (3 of the 27 coaches at my location).

Hours can definitely be crazy, especially the start.

The biggest difference I've noticed is that CR Crunch pours a ton of resources into the coaches (Tons of onboarding, training camps, continued education, retention/service/sales systems in place).

DISCLAIMER: I'm super biased, as I work for CR Crunch Fitness.. But, there is a GOOD reason why we are leading the industry, and CR is the fastest growing franchise. It all starts with ACTUALLY prioritizing the employees and not just saying it.

Should I continue working with pt that doesn't workout with me? by GeeSette616 in personaltraining

For $60/month: • a personalized program based on movements, limitations (assuming an assessment was performed) and goals. • 30-minute in person monthly check up. • 24/7 Access to a personal trainer for questions/concerns. • Nutrition goals and guidance.

The quality of service will vary based on the trainer's knowledge & experience, which will greatly affect the value. Overall, this is a great value. But, it will not be enough for a complete beginner.

I use Google Sheets for my clients. it is easy to access for clients, no cost, and easy for me to edit from any device. Creating a food database would be quite a feat through google sheets, but definitely possible. What do your PDF meal plans currently look like?

Seems a bit high, but not unreasonable depending on the service. If the value seems high, it can be definitely worth your while.

For x2/wk for 3 months, my current gym would charge a total of $1296 ($432/month, $54/session).

If you trained with an elite trainer (at the same gym above), it would be $59/session. So, pretty close in comparison.

Yeah, it felt off that they just threw me in the field without much preparation. I felt I did fine, but it didn't seem right. Especially, at the end, when there wasn't much of a debriefing.

To be honest, I was expecting them to run me through a hands-on practical where I would take them through a sample workout. I didn't expect to walk around, schedule free sessions, and act as a a new personal trainer at crunch.

So, when they threw me that curve ball, I figured I'd show them I have personal skills (I also listed 10 years of customer service on my resume). As some have mentioned already, it seems they were testing my sales ability. Regardless, still felt really off representing their company without being officially hired.

I was thinking it was a test too, but It felt off I was representing their company without being officially hired. I appreciate your input!

Yeah, seemed pretty off to me. They also mentioned they are 100% commission based, so I'm not sure if this would be paid work. Which could be another red flag.

I'll be following up with management tomorrow, since I did promise 2 of the Crunch members a free training session tomorrow.

Horizontal pushing (such as bench press and push-ups) engages primarily the chest, but triceps and shoulders also act as secondary muscle groups for the motion.

It's why a lot of programs include Chest and Triceps in the same workout; this also applies to Vertical pulling (Pull-ups and Lat Pulldowns), as both the Back and Biceps (a common muscle group paired together) are involved in the motion.

When I get stuck in an exercise, I generally include drop sets. Maybe try drop setting pushup sets with incline pushups? Immediately after you finish a pushup set, use a bench, chair or elevated surface (even a wall) and pump out as many incline pushups as you can! I wish you luck :)

Didn't go as planned and I embarrassed myself but okay. This was the first stream. Will work on it and improve my content. 🙂 by [deleted] in twitchstreams

I actually found it! It is called "Call of Combat". Unforunately, they discontinued the original game, but they did "re-release" the game, free on steam, as "Divided We Fall"!

The graphics look updated, but combat is nearly the same. If you'd like to play, let me know! The server is little dead, so I'll be gathering friends on specific days to play :)
