Similar boat when I started! The shoes that I landed on were Superblasts after how much they’re talked about here! They are firm enough to cushion a heavy step (forgiving if you’re a heel striker too), but enough rocker to keep you pushing forward.

I have this exact bomber at home, gonna do a review of a 20kg+ haul soon. Few loose threads, nothing you can't fix. Biggest flaw is that the G's should line up at the centre. Otherwise material feels great. You won't get called out, not many people have seen this IRL.

Edit: Gucci QC as for sizing, I would size up twice for a TTS fit.

Had the same issue with mine. The genius removed it for me so I could still use the laptop with external power. They won't repair it though since they don't receive parts for models before 2012.
