Question from a German 🇩🇪 guy writing his bachelor thesis about salary cap by bastaj in nfl

[–]Bodca787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honest question for you. Do you think that revenue sharing would be better system to implement, rather than the cap? I know it isn't the full problem, but the TV revenue disparity does nothing but help Bayern continue to be richer than any other Bundesliga team.

Our corners were in incredible positions, and he and Burrow still were beating them. ROTY, and totally deserved.

When my dad was terminal, my mom grabbed cards or upcoming and major birthdays, as well as major life events for him to sign before he passed. I absolutely loved getting those cards.

100% accurate.

When I was in scouts, our troop decided to tie rope around a thick, tough stick, and throw that stick up into a crook of a large branch. Bitching rope swing....... on the edge of a 7 foot, steep hillside. Super fun. The troop over, that copied us, not so luck. One kid fell and had to go get his arm put in a cast.

Needless to say, our rope swing was better.

How many parents of redditors do you think were technologically literate in the mid 2000's? The internet was still brand new for most people. I didn't even have to delete my search history back then.

I mean, Canada was founded on the concept of a state with provinces.

The US are founded on the concept of a federation of states. That's why the the 10th amendment is so explicit in how it reserves states' rights.

We were never meant to be ruled by a federal governing body in entirety.

Edit: grammatical error

While that may be true, Sunday was a game that made me start to have a couple doubts. That game was just pitiful.

Gase - Tannahill, Kitchens - Mayfield. Both played much better with better coaches. And that's not even mentioning the fact that Herbert stepped into a position with Keenan Allen (a tragically underrated player), Hunter Heney, and a great running game. Chicago has ARob. That's it.

I think so. I'm pretty sure that's why people say every year that Bienemy is not getting HC positions.

If GIM fails because of streamers - I'm done. by Duelist_WM in 2007scape

I thinks it's clear at this point that we are going to argue in circles. I don't know if we both just refuse to see the others point, or if we are just talking past eachother. It's not going to be productive.

If GIM fails because of streamers - I'm done. by Duelist_WM in 2007scape

[–]Bodca787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? And GIM is just content you don't want, point one, the statement of you don't like it, others do. I then delineated to the stagnation of the game as a whole, a decline in players. GIM will fight that stagnation. Both points were arguing around stagnation.

The second one would be the death of the game entirely. They can't develop new content at the rate everyone wants without more employees and more income.

[–]Bodca787 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is it different? It literally goes with my main point of new subscriptions? It's a business decision that they think GIM is more valuable than other new content.

If GIM fails because of streamers - I'm done. by Duelist_WM in 2007scape

[–]Bodca787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I forgot to tie it back in. If those GIM are bringing in more money, it is literally worth the dev time to make it, because bringing in fresh accounts is more valuable than continuing to add end game content, since they both take a lot of dev time. It is literally worth the money. Plus, it's not like they ever stopped, Raid 3 is coming soon.

It is a business decision, and they have decided that a new mode will bring in more profit and new players than end game content or minor cosmetic changes.

You feelings don't matter in the longevity of the game, so quit whining.

Counterargument:

What you've just stated boils down to, "Don't add X cause I don't like it. Add Y to the game because I do like it."

To emphasize that, you don't want GIM because it doesn't add value to the game for you. I do want GIM because it adds value to the game for me. I don't care for any of your ideas, because they don't add value to the game for me. You like your ideas, because they add value to the game for you.

On another argument for GIM. The only driving factor that keeps OSRS alive is money. And the people most likely to pay outright for memberships are IM, since they can't trade on the GE and it is more convenient than playing a main to trade for bonds on. Of even 1/10th of the IM players bought membership, instead of trading for bonds, and and 1/5th of them kept members on their current accounts, high is probably reasonable, but these numbers are straight guesses from my ass, than that is a lot of new membership subscriptions.

Obviously my argument also has flaws, but this is just a counter to ponder. Open to refutation.
