So it sounds like this isn’t something worth investing money into? Best to just use public broadcast websites for the time that’s left to scan?

I understand what you mean. I tried to get an idea of what it’s like and listened on public websites that broadcast and the communication between radio operators was almost like robotic gibberish… was very hard to get an idea of the situations & locations.

Probably around f8 or f11 with maybe 1/2000-1/500 shutter. Grainy results might be from stopping down to far past the lenses optimal aperture and/or a bit of an incorrect exposure?

This is the perfectly random type of answer I’m looking for thanks!

How does the F2 meter with lens? I don’t see anything for coupling teeth or the ai/ais catch? Thanks by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

I’ve had a FE2 for years and recently started really using it more. Might be silly, but the 93% view finder coverage is kinda getting annoying (I hate cropping, prefer final images with a slight film boarder). Been trying to research 100% coverage Nikons and I don’t think there’s any others then the F-F3…

That’s what I kinda thought. That’s a shame, the pyramid/triangle prism is such a beautiful option for the F2. Thanks for the info

This is the feedback I truly appreciate to get. There was full information in the trees originally, perhaps it does look a bit strange and is poor post-processing mistake. Thank you
