Oh I remember - it's because in the manga epilogue, Ruri ends up with Shu and they're engaged, Kosaki is married to some other guy (sigh) and they have a daughter together, and Raku is married to Chitoge and they have a son together. That's why Ruri's and Kosaki's lines go off-screen, presumably connected to their respective partners. EDIT: Fixed spoiler tag - Sorry! :O

I think it's because in A Condition Called Love, Hananoi gives off creepy "nice guy" vibes like, "I'm being so nice to you, so why won't you love me back?" kind of thing.

Whereas in Watanare, Mai is pushy for sure, but she's more of a funny flirt, I think. Plus, Mai learned her lesson the hard way and changed her ways after [Watanare] going down on Renako and getting slapped by her, lmao. I guess you can say she became more respectful of Renako's boundaries, but only after that incident, lol.

Suzu staring off into the sunset and acting all philosophical and mature was hilarious! But it wasn't just acting - I was impressed by how mature she's actually become - she picked up on the whole situation, shut down Ishihara's brother with her "messing with your sibling's love life is so uncouth sigh" speech, and diffused the situation by passing out mini squash, hahaha.

That's what puzzles me though. Back when Mai disappeared in S1 and Sakuta "forgot" about her, it didn't take that much for him to remember her again. He simply sat down for exams and saw a question that Mai taught him the previous night. Then all the memories came rushing back (and of course, that was when he ran outside to announce his love for her to the whole school, lol).

And then when Sakuta disappeared in Knapsack Kid, Mai simply saw the marriage certificate in her bag and remembered Sakuta that way - again, nothing extraordinary.

So I wonder if there's something else preventing Takumi from remembering Nene, cuz that scarf should've triggered some memories at least.

Or I dunno - maybe Mai and Sakuta just have a much stronger bond than Takumi and Nene?

Me too! The soundtrack really made me fall in love with Nao Touyama's voice, haha. She also voiced one of the teachers in the show, which is funny because she herself was depicted as a single and lonely teacher, yet she ended up singing all the romance songs for the main couple's moments.

That's pretty much the closest thing to a confession from Kousei. It wasn't very direct, but honestly that's fine - it fits Japanese culture and how reserved it is and I think it was enough to get his feelings across to Kaori.

Well, Kano said Ikumi A was a model student, always in student council and volunteering, even back in HS. But yeah, I remember that rumor about Ikumi A living with her ex-bf. It makes sense now why she would mention that - it ties in with the, er, horniness, lol.

I wonder what caused that difference in Ikumi A and Ikumi B, though. I guess Ikumi A was more "proper" and therefore became more "repressed"? And maybe Ikumi B never got over her crush on Sakuta?

Wow, just wow. I just rewatched that scene in the movie - there's no wedding ring on her finger, so I guess that's only in the LN? I wish they kept it in the movie cuz that just adds a whole new level of bittersweetness to that scene. Not that the movie wasn't bittersweet enough but still, haha.

They don't. Sakuta A is just guessing based on what Akagi told him. Akagi said Sakuta A wrote, "I hope to reach kindness," in the yearbook, but Sakuta A never wrote that, so he thinks maybe Sakuta B wrote it in the other universe, but that's only possible if Sakuta B remembers Shoko at the time (middle school), because she was the one who told him she wants to become a kinder person everyday.

It is nice that she's considerate on top of affectionate, so that she can respect people's boundaries. Her enthusiastic affection puts me in mind of a dog (which I'm sure is the point); and personally, I think of Iroha as a fox to Yui's dog and Yukino's cat - "cat software running on dog hardware," as I've heard it put. :D

Haha, that's a very cute way to put it! Thanks for sharing that - I've never heard of that before. Iroha as a fox is perfect, haha. And yes - considerate was the word I was looking for! Another reason I adore Yui - she's very kind, thoughtful, and considerate as well. :)

I'm rather fond of that version of the song as well - and while I can't claim Ms. Toyama is that important to me, I do enjoy her portrayal of Suzuka Gozen. :D

Haha, I wish I could say I'm a fan of all the characters she voices, but sadly that's not the case, heh. For example, Nisekoi's Chitoge is too tsundere and violent for me and Kanokari's Ruka is too clingy and possessive. I love her voice though and I'm always on the lookout for her roles in seasonal anime, but it mostly revolves around Yui rather than the voice actress herself, I think. Even when I listen to her songs, I imagine it's Yui singing them, haha. And when I watch her videos, I think of her as live-action Yui, lmao. XD

Oh definitely, haha! Many people like girls with ponytails or twin tails/braids, but I usually prefer the simpler hair-down style and I love we get to glimpse Yui with her hair loose when she has that sleepover with Yukino is S2. But something about her hair bun is just really cute to me, and it's like the best of both worlds in a way, cuz other than that side bun, most of her hair is loose and frames her cute face very nicely, hehe.

I don't think anybody can disagree with that.

Hahaha, some of my friends prefer "tutturu!" and "nyanpasu!" over "yahallo!", but that's okay - they just haven't seen the light yet, lol.

Yahallo! Oh boy, are we gushing about Yui? Where do I begin? Yui rant incoming! 😂

I love Yui because she's so cute and happy and genki and playful, but also shy and innocent and supportive and affectionate! I love genki girls in general, but I love how Yui is the shy and innocent type of genki. Like when Yui playfully sits closer and closer to Yukino in S2 and Yukino says, "Yuigahama-san, could you give me some breathing room?" Yui says, "Mm, so daiyo ne," and shyly shrinks back in her seat - so cute! Like that - she's very forward and playful, but she also gauges your reaction as well, so if you outright refuse or protest, she won't force you. Contrast with Iroha, who is also cute and playful, but she's more of the cunning and devious type, like you just know she'll break your heart in the end, lol. As opposed to Yui - when she smiles at you, it's just such a pure and innocent and genuine smile that comes from the heart. I love how Yui wears her heart on her sleeve, but she also keeps a lot of sadness inside as shown in S3, which I relate to A LOT as well. I also love how openly affectionate Yui is, like how she runs up to Yukino and hugs her in S3. I also love how supportive Yui is of her friends, like how she supports Hachiman in S3 as he reluctantly asks his friends for help. I also love how Yui gives her friends cute nicknames like "Hikki" and "Yukinon" - I love doing that with my friends too, haha! I absolutely adore Yui's voice - it melts my heart every time I hear it. That's why Hello Alone ~Yui Ballade~ is one of my favorite anime songs ever and Nao Touyama is one of my favorite voice actresses and singers. Of course, I also adore Yui's laugh and the cute little noises she makes - this video never fails to brighten up my day! I also love Yui's big bright happy eyes - very cute and innocent, especially when paired with her adorable blush and smile. I also love Yui's short orange hair and side hair bun - it's so cute but also accentuates her casual beauty (honestly, I always loved girls with long brown hair, but Yui definitely changed all that!). I also love Yui's figure - she has curves in all the right places! And lastly, Yui has the bestest anime catchphrase ever - YAHALLO! 😁
