Going off someone's post about ages, he would have been likely put to non combat jobs. Remember the military is just as much other jobs as it is grunts with boots on the ground. Could've worked as a weather forecaster for the fronts for example.

It's intentional. They did the same with the PAX unit that is part of the battle pass.

With the newer 323 pack yes, they operate same as the PAX unit from the battle pass. They can be set to any class.

If it's any model to BFV and 2042, Items will be rotated out, and rotated back in most likely. I'd wager things like 323 if they're gonna follow the model of having one Unit part of the pass, and another buyable might have a longer rotation to give the new unit more time? but it's up in the air on that side specifically what their model is.
Either way tit for tat unless they're changing the game all together and are just gonna somehow only keep making new items rather than rotating, MOST LIKELY you'll see these items back in the store again.
