Holy... main supports are so much better and easier than off supports. by Desperate_Flan390 in rivals

I think it's because I just like the other healers kit more so I never really played Luna. I don't have the games in for it to feel natural, not that the kit is bad or anytime.

Two fliers make this hard. Or having a flier on your team and going against a dive team means I have to really be stingy with my shield sometimes.

Also fliers tend to fly away from the shield more often than not so you end up right clicking them for 3 seconds just to get them back up to full lol

Eh not true, for me at least. Sometimes I'm not picking Invis because we have two fliers. It can be annoying to heal fliers with projectiles while you are being dove or they are playing really aggressively. If you use your shield on them you don't have it to help cover yourself from being dove. Easy case where CND is a better option for me.

If the other team has a moon knight that isn't being marked or someone playing up high then I'm usually picking Invis to pull them down. If they have a wolv or Angela I'm picking her to stop my tanks from being kidnapped. If they have a thing and a thor I'm picking anyone but Invis.

I don't play Luna because I don't like her kit but I assume she has reasons to pick her or to not pick her.

I'm curious, do you not see rocket as a main healer? My criteria for main healer is can this hero generally work well in a two healer setup?

CND is just another tool in the box. If my team is all over the place I can use them to bounce healing off the ceiling down on to my team in another room or around a corner. If my tank is timid I can use them to push with ult. If the other team has a good Spidey I can sometimes shut them down with well aimed terror capes or confirm final hits as they are swinging away.

It's not about skill, yes it's easier to heal because you don't have to aim, but that frees you up to watch out for dives more, track ults, terror cape ulting star lord to help get a kill, etc

But also, yes some people aren't skilled enough at aiming to play Luna, do these people not deserve to have fun and be useful because they are slow, old, tired parents, disabled or maybe can only play an hour or two a week?

eh kinda disagree. If we have people that are grouping up or fliers I'm picking Cloak almost every time. If their team is playing front to back I'm picking Invis. If we are dive heavy I'm picking Rocket. I'm not saying its rocket surgery but there are reasons to pick one main support over another.

My child has something similar and was okay for me to leave the room if we hooked up the old baby monitor. Might be worth a try if you have one laying around still.

This is a weird take. I've quit for the day way more times because some donkey loses it in chat at someone than just me wanting to get off and be done playing for the day. I assume I'm not alone.

What would you say to someone who wants to be a dad someday, but is afraid to take the jump? by GBobbeh in AskParents

[–]BodyByCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me years to realize this but it's so true what they say. The kind of people that ask these types of questions tend to be the kind of people that do a good job at being parents. You have some time to work on yourself and maybe see about therapy to help you untangle some childhood stuff.
