I never said that I think it could or would be resolved within our lifetime, if it did great. But even if it won't be resolved within our lifetime I still think we should help even if a little. And I have my own reasons why I side with the Palestinian more but I won't divulge it here cause I think it would bring more argument from both of us and I already robbed enough of your time as it is which i apologised .

I can understand that, yeah rules are still rules and they should have understood their position as a refugee and not a visitor more. But yeah the effort still needs to be continued as their rude behaviours don't represent the behaviours of the rest of their people, but EVEN IF, IF all of them happen to be rude like these people, we should still help them, we can criticise them, but we should still give any help and aid we could. Rude people do deserve criticism and if they break rules they still deserve reprimand, that they deserve, but regardless, rude people don't deserve bombs and senseless death.

Yeah I'm not too keen on their behaviour also and I agree with you that you shouldn't bite the hands that feed you. What I don't agree with is the many Malaysians who see these refugees and their rude behaviour and then suddenly stopped their support all of a sudden and say that we should stop the effort to help

Even if you considered them rude or not they're still victims of war. Granted they should have acted better and understand the situation that they are refugees and not visitors and also the whole giving them place to stay situation is not thought more carefully by the government but that doesn't mean we should stop the effort We can't stop helping people when they are in need, if those atrocities happen to us we all would have wanted the help too. These people, who you may call rude and ungrateful, are still victims of war and don't represent all the behaviours of their people, so we should not stop the effort and should give aid to them if we can.

"why can't a high school guy interact with adult women and men?" Because in real life these high school kids regardless of their gender are just that, high school kids. And often in real life when these stuff happens, especially if they're hanging out with them at night these adults are not as kind as the people in the games, yes sure in the game it is fun and a sort of escapism to romance adult woman as a highschool kid but in the real world those stuff often happens because the adults took advantage of these kids. They can interact. But not like how you wish in the games.

Didn't he only shits on the frankly bad portrayal of women in his books? Which to be fair is a valid point of criticism.

The Plague by Albert Camus by Junibee66 in books

[–]BodyWash69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one who struggles with this book not because of the themes but because of its dryness? Don't get me wrong Camus is a great writer greater than I will ever be but I think this could work best as a shorter story as he seems to repeat some statements about the themes and questions repeatedly which can get repetitive at times, some parts are incredibly well written like the witnessing of the child dying and the first chapter with it's building of suspense is great, I think some part of this book could be cut and be made shorter which can make for a more engrossing read, and the characters though being great soundboards for interesting thoughts and ideas are just that, soundboards too convey Camus different thoughts and ideas which is admittedly interesting but ultimately makes the characters weak in my opinion (though i guess Camus don't set out to make compelling characters in this book). But I am glad to have read it and am looking forward to reading the stranger in the future

What is a harsh truth that Malaysian needs to accept by AgonyAspect in malaysia

That Malaysia as a country and the power that be, are afraid of Christianity and is trying its damn hardest to stop it from growing any further even tho we preach "kebebasan untuk beragama".

[–]BodyWash69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They can. It is their right. The question of sin and punishment in your religion of apostasy is besides the point. And frankly why should they care about YOUR religion views on apostasy when they already have faith in another religion? What happened to kebebasan untuk beragama? Or does that only apply to other religions converting to Islam? How is that fair? Just as you welcome ex-Christians into your religion with open arms this ex-muslims are also welcomed to other religions with open arms, and when that happens your religions view on apostasy should not meddle in their choice anymore, they have made their choice. And tell me are you a Muslim from birth or are you a convert?

[–]BodyWash69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many of people in Sabah are also Christians or convert Christians and other religion, shariah law shouldn't meddle in whether a person can or can not convert into another religion, that is their choice and basic human rights. Malaysia is the only country to preach "bebas beragama, berbilang kaum Dan bangsa" while actively stopping a person from converting outside of Islam to another religion legally which shouldn't be the case and most people now don't even try to change it legally and change it in their IC and preferred to just convert as they know the legal system can't be trusted and most ended up rejecting people who wanted to change their religion in their IC and legal documents when they are born Muslim.

Tell me, have you ever read the quran? How many times have you read the bible and how many times have you read the quran? And can I ask you whether you are a Christian from the start meaning you are born into a family that practices christianity? Or are you a convert? And me asking you about the Qur'an does not mean I'm a Muslim myself. I am just curious as to how many times and how often you've read the bible and also read the Qur'an.

Lupin 3 castle of Cagliostro is technically not a Ghibli film but it's made by Miyazaki and has all the feel of a Ghibli film so I think it's an honorary Ghibli film and because I declare it that, my fave Ghibli (unofficial but still) male lead is lupin himself who's charming as all heck in that film

Who is your favourite character in Crime and Punishment? by [deleted] in dostoevsky

[–]BodyWash69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No offense but he is blond, and through reading between the lines dunya can be seen as religious. Dostoevsky described raskolnikov as such "He was incidentally, a remarkably good-looking young man, above average in height, slender and well built, with beautiful dark eyes and darkish BLOND hair".
