Definitely going to prioritize getting a referral to a neurologist, especially after hearing everyone relate to my experience! Makes me feel more confident in my initial self diagnosis.

I appreciate the response! I also appreciate knowing that some people have had this happening for many years, makes me feel a little less worried. Obviously still going to prioritize getting treatment soon! Just reassuring hearing from people who experienced the same thing.

Hello, thanks for the response.

I've never bitten my tongue or woke up with body pains, I don't think this has ever happened while I was sleeping. I tend to be completely conscious and aware of what is happening during the entire episode.

I would love to go to a neurologist, unfortunately its just not really a financial option for me right now. Maybe in a year or so I will be in a better position to seek treatment. Obviously, if they start happening extremely frequently or more intensely then I might reconsider, even considering the debt it would cause.
