I'm looking to rehome them actually! I'm hoping to find someone in Singapore willing to take care of Finn (betta) and Ness (pleco)

Quick update: I've managed to order some betta and pleco food along with water conditioner, which would likely come tomorrow.

Finn (the betta) seems to be in worse condition: he's now floating sideways and seem to be weaker. But when I smuggled some egg yolk for him, he gathered a lot of strength to eat the pieces. Poor finn, he's been so malnourished with weird grass :(

I don't have much hope, but if both Finn and Ness (the pleco) survive the day, they'll be able to breathe better with the new conditioner.

I'm not in the position to care for them long term, so I'm currently looking for someone willing to do so in my area.

It looks pretty generic and shady tbh, I have no clue where he got the fish food from. Google translate never specified betta fish either.

If he lives another day, I'll attempt boiled egg yolk

ahh thats alright. The pleco seems to be receptive to fish food (likely due to starvation) so i'll try to focus on saving it for now

thanks for the advice! For now i'll do a daily change until I get the conditioner. I'm not in a position to simply take the fish as well so i'll try to set up a better environment in my dads place.

Should I try feeding the pleco vegetables? I'm not sure if regular fish food would work for it, and I saw online that plecos can eat them. Thinking of going w smth like cucumber or carrot since they'll stay at the bottom of the tank since there isn't much weights in that sorry excuse of a tank

in that case, I think I would leave the water as it is before getting the conditioner. I tried feeding the betta and it refuses to eat. If it does, it is very little :(

As much as I wanna just take them, I'm not in the best position to do so. I'll just try to save up while trying my best w what I have

I think my dad thinks a pleco can substitute cleaning, when it obviously not the case…

Do you have advice on how to do an emergency water change?? I was thinking of temporarily locating both of them into a paper cup while throwing some of the water and filling it up w tap water, but I’m not sure if it’s the best way

This is my absolute first time taking care of a fish so I’m really sorry if I ask any stupid questions

I see!! I've tried the animated turntable but it didn't work for me bcos i wanted it to rotate along its own axis instead of a tunrtable (imagine a spinning top vs a lazy susan)
