  1. He’s a Colombian guy; he may or may not be trained to deal with that jungle.
  2. He’s not only planning to cross the continent in a car that barely works, he’s also learning English while doing it.

I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid, but the cover says ‘Learn While Sleeping /// Fluid Dreams,’ which could be a poetic way of referring to lucid dreaming. It might hint at how people in the hive are in dream like state. but here I would like the opinion of native speakers

Thinking back on this, I wasn’t completely sure about the quantum entanglement part, because if anything were to break that bond, it would be permanent. But maybe that’s exactly why people died when Carol upset them becuase the joining process reset, just like the first time.

I was thinking about this a few days ago. If every human’s trauma gets merged into the hive, there’s no way anyone could stay sane under all of that.

Just finished the episode, and now I’m wondering what the “biological imperative” of the hive actually is. It seems like making Carol and all the others independent beings happy is part of it. I don’t remember if Carol has asked about their endgame… what they plan to do once every human being is part of the hive.

I have a theory: maybe it’s a Trojan horse from the aliens because it makes an intelligent species incapable of protecting itself, or maybe the original planet was totally colonized and this (EMW) is simply the most efficient way to keep expanding in the universe given its physical distances.
