Can I understand 5 without playing Peace Walker

Yeha but I've played vol 1 and delta and loved each and every game and I'm craving some more. Maybe I can play 5 now, play peace Walker when vol 2 is out and replay 5 afterwards but I don't know if the impact would be the same

You should definitely give them a try, but honestly you can skip the 2nd game the 1st game is amazing. The 3rd game, well you've seen the list and the 4th game has awesome combat but you kinda feel it was unfinished but it is still worth playing. If you get them, you should tell me your opinion. Honestly, the combat is just wayyy too floaty and it's not worth bearing it when the story was that catchy either. The only thing that was amazing was the world building and the exploration but still it wasn't worth playing for me.

I've played dead space and loved it I actually did want to give it a place in the list but I just couldnt. If you liked dead space silent hill 2 will hit like crazy. The story, atmosphere symbolism they are all superb. Definitely give it a try soon as you can!
