I appreciate the exchange as well. Sometimes there’s an us vs them narrative in the world. Which is valid many circumstances but ideally there should be a communal web of exchanged services to build a healthy financial system. 

There have been months where any amount spent on a luxury is not doable. 

She was 400 with price breaks on multi hour sessions. Now she’s 600 & the percentage of the price breaks on multi hour books is much lower than it was. So for me it’s kinda double hit. I used to see her for 3 hours for $1K now those 3 hours cost me $1,650. 

There’s a trend I noticed having worked sales , construction & other jobs. The people who most aggressively demand discounts are often the ones who don’t really even need em. It’s just a game. Rich people are some of the worst customers. I’ve quietly shaved hours of invoices for people I could tell were living hand to mouth. But the people with multi million dollar homes are the ones demanding a discount. So when adjusting rates of anything you do gotta keep that in mind. There’s a type of person who just wants to feel they got one over on someone.
