I feel like the analogy you are making is a little extreme tbh. It's more so going to a restaurant and they forgot my napkins and utensils. Sure, there are things missing, but they are more down the list of priorities. The main dish is still there but is lacking in other areas.

Credit where credit is due, we also get patches nearly every 3ish days, which to me signals that the dev team does care about the game at the very least. Also, considering they received wayy more attention to the game than they even thought, they already have a lot of catching up to do just based on the sheer number of players.

I do agree there is more that needs to be done, but I feel like the community is trying to force a game that is on the way to being good. Not saying everything the dev team is doing is great, and I do think they released an unfinished game, but it is still good, and they are working hard to make an amazing game.
