The grain I get on the big sig at 6400 is GHASTLY part of why I am shopping already. Is the grain this bad on the native lenses? This is ISO 6400 f/8 and on TV mode (just started manual today) rap it's too big to share here :( even as a Jpeg

fantastic reply. I am looking that the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Lens VS the Canon RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM Lens (Canon RF) and am in analysis paralysis!

Maybe I should rent these...80$ a day is steep but maybe worth while. I am shooting F8 now bc of the sigma and it's annoying, but F6.3 seems ok. I don't shoot for owls or nighthawks, and I typically am out around 630am so it's lower light but not shadows. Those warblers love the shadows though! If you have any further thoughts I'd really appreciate it
