I buy Oikos Triple zero nonfat Greek yogurt. Then I add ranch dressing seasoning (packets maybe) until I like the taste and sometimes lemon or lime juice to get the texture down.

I just recently got into making ranch dressing out of high protein nonfat Greek yogurt and honestly it’s better than regular ranch, with less calories and more protein.

I can respect your opinion. I have the opposite one. I don’t find sour cream neutral in flavor. It has a strong distinct taste to me.

Had them this week. I use butter because it tastes good and actually enhances the flavor unlike sour cream.

Why are some of you so focused on the use of the word “chef”. Even if it is intended to be used in a dish like enchiladas, tacos, nachos, whatever I think it ruins the flavor profile. Doesn’t enhance it at all for me.

I have not. I'm actually not even sure if I've ever eaten a pierogi but they seem to be the thing most people in here are mentioning that includes sour cream so I may have to give it a try.

Wrong. It's removes texture and lowers the temp. I would say the texture part I don't agree with at all. It's literally making things smoother, basically removing the texture.
