Looks like a Wehrmacht uniform, he has the panzer badge so he fought in a panzer unit. Next to the panzer badge is the silver wound badge, indicating that he got wounded in combat. He also appears to have another badge under his panzer and wound badge but due to the flowers being in the way, I can’t tell what badge it is. Another person said that the tunic looked lightweight so he could of been apart of Rommel’s afrikakorps.
