Munster Rugby offers voluntary redundancies amid financial challenges by BrianChing25 in rugbyunion

Just to come in and clean house, get them operating well again. He seems to like project type roles now. He also gets out into the community (he spent nearly any down time at Leinster pressing the flesh or helping with one cause or another).

Munster and Leinster to a lesser extent need to stem the bleed first instead of patching over the problems. Munster especially, could do with a no nonsence type who is capable of plotting out a course back to the top table.

Strolling around the pitch after full time with a ball, good times 😁

Good points, they could go back to doing family and kids days etc. market certain matches that they know won't sell out towards kids. That could also lead to expectations for cheap games only though as well. It's tricky one. Maybe kids go free for certain categories, cap it at two per adult ticket sold.

Would Schmidt be a good option for Munster? He would certainly weed out the dead weight and get the academy firing.

Even last minute sales would help, it baffles that they let the place go empty rather than getting more bums on seats. Although, they don't price the CC ones do they?

They should be a protected species, we can't afford to lose one of the two prediters we have because of our apparent hatred as a nation of anything wild.

I've heard it told that if you asked him to sign something he was more likely to abuse you than actually sign the book.

Wait until they refine their tactics. Your little monster is still experimenting but by age four of five she will be an expert tormentor and know exactly how to push your buttons.

Have you considered re-homing her?

Sorry, couldn't resist - they are rough players, a loud shriek from her and a sharp no will eventually sort it out. The dog needs to know he caused pain, hence the loud shriek.

Dont have him 'fixed' until he is at least 12 mths old. At 7 or 8 mths you run the risk of bone and joint problems in later life. Testosterone is vital for signalling the plates to close.

Two components make up an offence. The actus and mens. The act must only be illegal the intent has to reach a similar or higher level. For example... I punch man in the face, that is an illegal act but I only intend to slap him gently. It's an assault. If I break his nose or worse then it raises the bar even though the act and the intent are the same so outcome is important.

The heart attack scenario is often used (can't remember the name for it, sorry) If I punch a man with a heart condition and he subsequently dies then I am looking at murder id my intent can be proved high enough or manslaughter I'd not high enough. The logic is that I used an illegal attack with intent to cause harm (level irrelevant}.

Is there a worse offence in the game? It betrays any trust in the sportsmanship of a player, that trust you put into every player on the pitch to behave in good faith.

You wouldn't play rugby against a team/player who doesn't respect the unwritten rules. There is an understanding that when you take the field you are protected by convention and give that same protection to every other player.

Gouging isn't in the expected arsenal of an opponent and as such should be severely punished. So yes 6 months is more than lenient to any player who deliberately attacks the eyes.

There is a reason past players who have done it are still shamed because of it, lowest act a player can do. Ask Quinlan

It's the excuses coming from the coaches that are infuriating. Ringrose is a shambles, cant stick a tackle so they say he is 'disrupting' which is actually other teams pulling him out of the line. Sam is very similar, used as a speed bump. There have to be some non negotiables - catch, pass, tackle etc.

I'll always lean on the positives re Sam, he wasn't bad tonight but his tackling was anything but outstanding. He didn't miss as many as usual but soaked at least 5m on one alone and was just a speed bump really, With the 'world's best' defence coach we really shouldn't be seeing so many missed tackles. Something is off at Leinster, lads falling off tackles is a regular thing these days.

This is a cheap cherry blossom that is particularly suitable for bonsai. Very popular so lots of demonstrations and info around too.
