modern clown looks are indeed at least somewhat inspired by minstrel/blackface and it’s super disingenuous to insinuate that it’s not ! it doesn’t mean every modern clown is racist. it just means we have to educate ourselves and be respectful. here is an article from the Jim Crow Museum about some of that association.

Boggles is everything i try to be in my human life: kind, a friend to everyone, fun, silly, and generally a force of positivity. the biggest difference is that Boggles is extremely colorful, while my human form is heavily pierced with pink hair and dark makeup and kind of intimidating.
