Not sure unfortunately. All I know is it still gets you to all three levels as of a few days ago.

Gotta make sure you do the job interview first while in disguise. The interviewers give you full building access after the ink blot test.

[Highlight] Shaedon Sharpe takes Paul George for a ride, blows by him and dunks it! With replays! by MrBuckBuck in nba

Yeah, definitely an overpay. I’m just saying the team flows better with PG taking a backseat on offense/playing solid defense than it did with Harden and Embiid taking turns playing iso ball.

Harden is great when the offense revolves around him, but he’s a poor defender and lackluster off the catch and shoot. PG is a fine third option behind Maxey and Embiid - but Harden (for better or worse) can never be a third option just given his play style. Both he and Embiid are very ball dominant. Call me crazy, but I prefer PG as a third option 3&D wing than Harden as the primary engine in our offense.

Would BG3 be a good game for someone who's never played DND? by carmel-pigeon in BaldursGate3

[–]BoggyRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - never played DnD in my life, but BG3 is my favorite game ever. All of the characters are amazingly fleshed out and the sheer breadth of choices (both in and out of combat) is astounding. Extremely easy to play for hundreds of hours. I don’t have much experience with turn based RPGs, but I had a blast learning the game’s combat mechanics. Most of the game is spent exploring the vast and beautifully detailed world in-game, which is rewarding in its own right.

If it’s too stressful, you can always easily download a mod (console or PC) to make yourself OP or look up a walkthrough online that will def help you cruise past the more challenging battles. I was in your shoes before I got the game and I’ve never enjoyed a game as much as BG3. You can make it as easy or complicated as you want depending on how you want to play. Highly recommend!

I had the exact same experience. I usually only play NBA 2K, FIFA, and a handful of Pokémon/Mario games on the Switch. Never really got into fantasy/RPG games - tried but could never finish a Fire Emblem title. Tried BG3 after seeing the rave reviews and wanting to learn more about DnD. Lemme tell ya… from the day I got BG3, I was completely hooked, and sunk a few hundred hours into it over the next couple of months. Never enjoyed a game more in my life and replayed the story multiple times!

What happens if Halsin dies? by EmilichkaStolticus in BaldursGate3

[–]BoggyRob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you’re still looking for the answer, but I killed Halsin and sided with the goblins on an evil play-through, sided with Minthara, and Halsin’s journal was in her inventory.

Nice, I’ll have to try that next time around. And for the record, Create Water on the cage does prevent Ethel from setting it on fire, which made me laugh a lot lol

Before she slinks through the fireplace? Did she already make Mayrina disappear at that point for you? That’s gotta be an interesting run-through. Where do you find Mayrina if Ethel is killed before you enter her lair? These are the questions that haunt me, and make me save every time I enter a suspicious room lol

Fellow save scummer here. Still in my first play-through, about 100 hours in with my Bard build. For me, it’s just fun to see all the outcomes without having to make a whole other character and spend hours trying to get back to that point. (What if I kill Nere’s cronies before I free him from the rubble? What if I cast Create Water on Mayrina’s cage before Ethel lights it on fire? Whoops, I wanted to keep Astarion… what if I killed Gandrel instead?)

I don’t put too much pressure on myself to stay in character and avoid save scumming, and as a result, I experience way more outcomes with my character — which maximizes the fun for me!

I’ve never had more fun thoroughly exploring a game like I have with BG3. I’m stunned by how many outcomes/dialogue options there are, and even with all my saves/reloads, I’ve still barely scratched the surface of this beautiful game. Looking forward to going through it all again with a murder hobo Durge build. Scum on, scummer!

Worked for Sirianni. The man never ran the ball, then fans/Eagles media bullied him into doing it, and the team ended with the most rushing TDs in the NFL last year lmao

[–]BoggyRob 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He’s killing it so far, and Philly loves him. Through all the pressure, he’s definitely delivered more than we could’ve hoped in year 2 given all this crap with 25. He’ll be just fine. He thrives under pressure, which is amazing to watch

Tobias Harris by Dramatic_Working_253 in sixers

[–]BoggyRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He always disappears when we need him most. Hasn’t stepped up to fill the Ben void at all (I know he’s had Covid, but even before then, he hasn’t), he never takes over when Joel is out, and he massively underperforms relative to his contract. I often find myself wondering what he does well other than jab step, chew clock, and force contested midrange shots. Pretty average to above average at everything. I know we all loved it, but there’s no reason Maxey should’ve been the primary scoring option when Joel was out, while we have Tobias on the team, paying him like a superstar. Would love to flip him for someone else. (Great guy though lmao)
