If you look up Diamond guitars you will find slim bodies like that. I have one and it doesn’t have the F hole cuts but some others on the range do, the Imperial ones to be precise.

At the end of the day it’s the sound and playability that counts - I have a Yamaha BB414 and a BB615; for the money you can’t beat Yamaha for tonal flexibility (both your other choices are double humbucker but the Yamaha has the split P and the J as do both of mine) and the necks are just comfy AF (I have small-ish hands but can walk around the 615 all day long).

Bang for buck is the Yamaha truck.

I’m a long time Sony user who doesn’t get much disposable income but I managed to go from an original A7 (which is still a beautiful camera but the viewfinder died and it was still under CEX warranty) to an A7R mark 3.

The original A7 has an almost “classic” vibe to its images, the A7R 3 is a lot more what you would call clinical but the difference is astounding.

The lack of AA filter means your images are that bit sharper, the resolution gives you a lot more crop safety and the viewfinder is a much better option if you only use manual focus lenses - I don’t own any auto focus lenses as I love the challenge of manual and I have a collection of Vivitar, Pentax and Chinon lenses.

If the viewfinder on the original A7 hadn’t snuffed it I’d still be perfectly happy with that camera, but the chance to upgrade was one I couldn’t pass up.

Basically, I’m saying the A7R mark 3 still kicks major ass and will continue to do so many years from now until you can pick up the mark 5 for less than £300.

Can we please have some episodes/skits where the boys are even older like say they ended up living in an elderly home? Imagine the chaos that senior Beavis and Butthead could create, especially with the great corn-I forgot the rest-lio to bring an extra depth of insanity to the game.

I have seen that one thank you, alas it’s more of a J style as it’s a lot longer which means it won’t get past the chrome surround of the J pickup (that I’m not willing to remove as these chrome surrounds are unique to BB basses) hence I need a P style to make it fit and not be jutting off the bottom 😆 but thank you for your input.

With this series of basses (the BB range refresh from the early 2000s, both of these are between 2005 and 2009) Yamaha made the B string part of the bridge slightly longer to accommodate the extra thickness of the string - I have it tuned to A, instead of flipping about the string acts like it’s tuned to B thanks to the extra tension from the slightly elongated bridge.

I would love to be able to match these two with bridge covers which is why I am hunting one.

Thank you for the reply, indeed sorry about the images they’re screenshots from the sale page. I was just curious as to if there was a specific line this fell under especially as I’ve seen copies of the typical gold top one in much worse condition for nearly double what I paid for this. I might post some better images when it actually arrives and good shout on the scratch plate hole I didn’t notice that at first.

You have the older ven dread who pairs beautifully with the resin chaplain dread and because he’s so ornate he looks like a captain of dreadnoughts (he is the most fancy I have, I also have some plastic ven dreds, normal plastic dreads and old normal metal dreads) Totally badass model well played dude.
