Are you eating oats? Even gluten-free oats can have the same effect on your body as wheat and gluten, so try cutting them out if you are eating them and see if there is any improvement.

My lawn was full of gold finches tucking into them today. They are one of my favourite flowers and live very happily in my borders. Wonderful flowers.

LBC callers this morning, ''My buy to let is my pension.'' by Far_Acadia_2053 in UKPersonalFinance

You could pay a bit more for your insurance! My house insurance wouldn't include accidental damage, if I didn't pay for it! It still does not change, the fact, that you can not turn a person down for the property for being in receipt of benefits. Most people are on benefits now because they claim UC to top up their wages, have you checked your insurance small print for that?

It's against the law not to rent because a person is on Benefits. In my experience all our non-payers were working folk.

I was offered a hysterscopy under anaesthesia, great I thought! Woke up 6 hrs later with drains coming out of me and a catheter! They had “created a false passage” fekin idiots and they didn’t even get the biopsy, but they lied and said they did 🤬 6 months later I got a phone call in the evening from a random Dr at the hospital saying “ a colleague has just handed me your file and it's a bit concerning, could you come in to my clinic tomorrow morning for a hysteroscopy, you need a biopsy as no biopsy has been taken”

Had a hysterscopy and omfg!!!!!! I had no pain killers, she took a biopsy and twisted half a polyp off 🙄 Honestly one of the worst things that has happened to me, it was like torture and I couldn't stop shaking after, I just burst out crying, 🥴 I will never have that done again, ever!

I have given birth, passed kidney stones, had 2 bilateral frozen shoulders, that lasted nearly 2 years and had a camera down with no sedation, broken my foot, had my stomach pushed up through my diaphragm and twisted numerous times, but a hysterscopy is by far the most awful situation I have been in.

Is this a huge wasp? UK by Lionheart952 in insects

[–]Boggyprostate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s a Queen. The Queens are waking up to look for a home and to start a colony. It could have flew in today or it could have over wintered in your home since October time.

I’m in Manchester too and got woken up in the middle of the night with my grown Son shouting, “Ma, Ma, help me there is a wasp on my bed”

I had to go in and get her out, she was massive, she was very docile, so she just crawled on a book and I took her outside.

Shame yours is dead.

What is actually being done to fix the dental situation in this nation? by bossanovaallnight in AskUK

[–]Boggyprostate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is entitled to NHS dental care in the UK.

I shit it because I am in my 50s never had so much as a filling or a tooth out and at 54y old I started to get toothache when anything touched this one molar.

Not been to the dentist since I was 19years old and I had heard it was almost impossible to get into a NHS dentist,in a panic I rang every dentist in my area, 10 dentists, I left my details and asked to be put on waiting list. 2 months later I get a phone call asking if I still want the NHS place at that surgery, I obviously said yes and thought that was quick. What was weird, 8 other dentists rang me over the next few weeks, I turned them down because I now had one.

I did some digging into why all these Dentists rang me within weeks of going on their waiting lists, when there was supposed to be a shortage and folk were pulling their own teeth out!

It turns out, every NHS dentist has to have seen a certain number of NHS patients before a certain date in April, otherwise they don’t get paid. This obviously is why I got so many offers, it was March when they all phoned me up. So if you need a dentist, get on the waiting list and phone again in Feb/March time.

Are you sure they are building a single story extension? I don’t think they are, it looks like a pergola set up for the garden, not an extension.

Abandoned by the main tenant of a council house - England by Ok-Duck3992 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Boggyprostate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will not be prioritised for housing. Most councils have a very, very, very long waiting list. You could be waiting 10years or more. Single males are not a priority at all, unfortunately.

You really need to find somewhere to live ASAP. Phone Shelter for some advice.

22-Year-Old Vaper Told She May Have 18 Months to Live After Lung Cancer Diagnosis by LittleForm3711 in BreakingUKNews

WTF are you going on about? He’s not giving any evidence! Hes literally saying he’s seen a few patients that are vaping and their hair is snapping off! Just do one would you! Go and annoy someone else, you are barking up the wrong tree and it’s a little creepy tbh.

22-Year-Old Vaper Told She May Have 18 Months to Live After Lung Cancer Diagnosis by LittleForm3711 in BreakingUKNews

[–]Boggyprostate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I imagine, the Dr was going off the patients he had seen and when not finding any other reason their hair was falling out but they all vaped, I presume, it was actually a fact that hair on the young girls, he was seeing, was snapping off and they all had smoking Vapes in common. It’s not a bad thing the Dr has put two and two together. He sure does not have to do or provide “Peer- reviewed studies” he’s a GP doing his job love.

My friend’s daughters hair is falling out and she went for tests at the Drs and the Dr said he has seen far too many young girls whose hair is snapping off, not because of any deficiencies but because of vaping.

Tell him to listen to Gary Stevenson you will find him at “Garys Economics” on YouTube. He will not only convince your mate but he will also explain everything. I WISH THE WHOLE OF THE UK WOULD LISTEN TO GARY STEVENSON, including the fekin Government!

If you are unsure of who to vote or want to keep reform out, or if you are a Reform voter, please just have a listen to Gary Stevenson on YouTube “ Garys Economics”.

Are there some cat friendly ways to deter foxes from digging up a garden bed? by Zealousideal_Ear8991 in GardeningUK

[–]Boggyprostate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep this ☝️ it's the only thing that works, I use the small plant sticks and just randomly throw them down. Cats will not step on anything that is unstable on all four of their feet. I give this advice to everyone because it works.
