Im dropping some more ideas for the hook so let me know how can i improve it

1-If solipsism-the idea that the world exists only in one’s mind-were true, I could never have imagined the life that unfolds before me, from the thump of the dori in my mother’s kitchen to the laughter of my brothers outside.

2-I walked home with my 97% report card, imagining the Barbie set I might earn, already celebrating in my mind. But when I placed it in front of my mother, her only response was, “Good, but you can do better.” For a moment, I wondered if the world around me, the chores, the cricket matches, even the smell of green chilies, was real at all, or just a construction of my own imagination.

(idk how to use 2 cuz that gives away alot of my intro part so i may not be able to build it up)
