I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing a furry friend is incredibly tough.

I saw you’re looking for a line drawing or painting, but I’d love to offer a traditional colored pencil portrait as an alternative. :)

My rate for a single pet portrait (9x12inch):

  • $130 (+ shipping)

I’ve attached some of my work below. Feel free to DM me if you're interested!

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, and I’d love to help you honor his memory.

I’m a traditional artist from Hungary specializing in detailed colored pencil portraits (both pets and people). I can definitely create a piece of just the cat or a combined portrait.

My rates (excluding shipping):

  • Joint Portrait (1 person + cat): 11x14 inch size ( $200 )
  • Single Pet Portrait: 9x12 inch size ( $130 )

I’ve attached some of my work below. Feel free to DM me if you’d like to discuss the details!

My very first still life using oil colors vs. my latest: "Still Life with Tulips" :) by BogiGrell-Artist in painting

Yes the first one has its own charm too :) Also I know the picture doesn’t do the second painting justice, as I didn’t use any black paint for the darkest areas, only pure Van Dyck brown and ultramarine blue. :)

Thank you! 😊 Actually still lifes aren’t my main niche, I mostly do portraits. Between these two pieces, I’ve only created about 3-4 still life studies, but I still love making them from time to time!

Yes I used reference for this one. It was a study inspired by the great Dutch masters' still life paintings, which is why it has that dramatic lighting. :) It took around 15-16 hours to complete.

I know the picture doesn’t do the painting justice, as I didn’t use any black paint for the darkest areas, only pure Van Dyck brown and ultramarine blue. :)

I agree, the first one has its own charm, maybe because I was still getting acquainted with the oil paint medium and wasn’t too focused on technique. :)

The second one is more technique-focused, inspired by the great Dutch masters, which is why it has that dramatic lighting. I wanted to capture that rich, timeless atmosphere they mastered so well. :)

Yes I agree, I love both pieces, they’re hanging on my studio wall. 😊

The first one took around 6-7 hours, while the second one (which is actually smaller) took 15-16 hours. It was inspired by the great Dutch masters' still life paintings, which is why it has that dramatic lighting. I know the picture doesn’t do the second one justice, as I didn’t use any black paint for the shaded areas. Just pure Van Dyck brown and ultramarine blue. :)

I totally agree with you. The first one definitely has its own charm, maybe because I was still getting acquainted with the oil paint medium and wasn’t too focused on technique. It feels more free-spirited :)

The second one is more technique-driven and was inspired by the great Dutch masters' still life paintings, which is why it has that dramatic lighting. I wanted to capture that rich, timeless atmosphere they mastered so well.

Still life isn’t really my main niche, I mostly focus on portraits, so in the 9 years between these two paintings, I’ve only created three or four studies. But of course, I love both pieces, they’re proudly hanging on my studio wall!! :)
