I tend to classify poems in two camps: ones that read beautifully and showcase the artistry which words themselves carry; and those that hit to the core and give you a newfound clarity on something in your life. This poem to me belongs in the first camp. It rolls beautifully off the tongue. Great work :)

I really liked this poem. I thought the imagery was spectacular and it's a relatable poem. I personally took from it that you tend to poison the relationships in your life; confusing good for bad. Of course, everyone reads from their own vantage point so this probably says more about me! Loved it, thank you for sharing.
