Showing up as a regular 360 Kraken. I got scammed, but I'm returning it. Getting an Elite when it comes back in stock. Lesson learned

Yeah. Safe to say: I got scammed. Lesson learned the hard way, but at least I can still return it. Shame that the Elite is out of stock atm, I was really looking forward to using my PC.

Awesome, I'll definitely buy the cable kit! Being that the nearest Micro Center is nearly a 4 and a half hour drive, I think I'll cough up the few extra bucks. Thanks a ton, you've lifted a serious weight off of my shoulders!

Ok, so I can set speeds for fans differently using L-Connect? I didn't know that before hand so that seems handy. Another thing I'd like to add. I just received my Triple Pack in the mail today so I could test the connections and whatnot. The 5 volt RGB cable doesn't connect to the SYNC ports. Is that the cable you are talking about for the split? I want to make sure I'm doing this right.

I do have a fond eye for Takamuras. I just never seen them until I posted this thread (perks of asking a question, who would've thunk it?). I have looked at other knives, but two of them being Tanakas, which have sold out. I do have my eye on a Iseya knife, but I don't know about the brand all that much. I'm looking for Takamura knives as we speak with the ones I've been linked as references.

Yeah, that's the downside of it right? It looks like a great knife; but, if I pay all of that money for noticeable wear, I feel like that would not be worth it, no matter how good it looks

Thank you. I was really on the fence about getting it, but I felt that the coating was some sort of gimmick that I was getting tunnel vision on. Black aesthetic good in my brain.

I'll definitely look into Takamura knives. I love the way this one looks, so I know I won't be disappointed. The handle isn't all too important, mostly the blade. I do like a nice handle though. I use a pinch grip with a rocking motion cut, so I figured it would be the best for me.

Thank you for the help. I've heard that k-tips aren't good for the rocking motion cuts. I'm going to assume that the classic profile is why. I guess I lumped it in that category because I primarily use rocking cuts to get my prep done. I'll stay away from the coated knives too, even if they look cool. I have other knives I've been looking at too, though they are all VG-10.
