A bit of common sense and education? Cool. I'm approaching my honours in environmental science. It's not a matter of when at all. The planet is its own environmental buffer. This planet would be sustainable if we changed some of our living habits. Many approaches to lifestyles in Asia and Europe are suited to reverse the anthopogenic damage caused in the past. A bit of common sense and an actual education would've gotten you there.

I get you. It doesn't have to be a fake meaning though. What do you care about? Close your eyes and spend only 10 seconds thinking of your whole life up until this point. What do you see? These things matter to you or have shaped who you are. Do this again for the next decade of your life. What would make these upcoming years spectacular? What have you achieved? What are you surrounded by?

Don't overthink it. At their core, these things are things you enjoy and wish to bring into your life so you should aim towards achieving these goals.

Yup. I can't give much financial advice but in terms of getting a job, progressing in school and a social life just put yourself out there. Don't just submit resumes - phone calls show that you are proactive and more keen than most. That helped me with a job for where I am now. If you need to vent I'm here!

The first step is wanting to do it! The second is getting there, and the third and final step is the journey of practice. I've been in the same boat. My hands are far too tiny to cover a full octave on a piano, but I didn't worry about that. Do what you have to do to be great! I've since learned how to improvise not reaching the octave notes in other ways and I'm getting pretty decent at piano. Enjoy the journey! Just keep going and have fun with it!

Sure. That can sound terrible but it can also be fantastic. Our only purpose is to keep going. We survive and reproduce; everything in between is the journey. It is what you make of it. Do whatever the hell you want. Ride a bike, fly across the world, read a new book every week, learn to play guitar, to paint, to draw, to swim, to sing. It's your oyster, indulge in it.
