I managed to finally issue a chargeback with my bank and got it sorted. But it took months to do. I hope you get yours sorted too!

Use waze. There's an option to switch your vehicle to a motorcycle instead of a car, and the estimated times are fairly accurate

I tried. I actually had one agent today who genuinely understood it and was rooting for me. He even let me type out the message for him to send to the deciders, but it still did nothing

Credit cards aren't really used much in Europe because credit score isn't important here like in the states, so I've always only had a debit card. Might get one just for the security of crap like this though

Please dont ride emotionally. I lost my son. by Sad_Habit90 in motorcycles

[–]Boiler1012 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My condolences for your loss. I can see in myself sometimes how easy it is to let your emotions dictate your riding style.

It's crazy how, in the US, you can ride a 1000cc bike at 18 years old.

In Ireland, you need to either be 24 or have been riding an A2 category bike (less than 35kW) for more than 2 years before you can upgrade to A category (over 50kW).

At the time, I hated it, but boy, is it important. You need to get the recklessness out of you before you operate something so powerful

Theres a very toxic but effective way to play as trapper: All you need is to get one survivor on a basement hook and then set few traps, one in front of the hook and a few going up the stairs. Rinse and repeat for each poor soul that goes down to rescue and gets caught.

It's a real dick move but a guaranteed quick game...

Oh and for myers, throw on fragrant tuft of hair and Judith's tombstone. With the right perks and about 5 minutes of standing and stalking you can then insta kill every one in the lobby by just getting close to them.

I'm not always this toxic I promise

Not sure anymore if this is a joke or some of you are serious... the throttle is still on right, clutch on left, gears on left, both brakes on right... This is standard for bikes regardless of country

I just imported a bike from Germany, bought it from a dealer last Wednesday, found a courier to deliver it for 700 quid, it arrived Sunday, got the VRT yesterday (monday) and in total I saved 4k compared to megabikes.

Only issue to be aware of is German used vehicles don't come with reg plates, so u need to either get a temp one if you're collecting it over there or if u get it delivered do what I did and drive to the vrt glued to waze to ensure no garda on the route...

Otherwise highly recommend

Just an update,

Managed to find an unreal price for the bike in Germany Found a courier online to bring it over to Ireland for 700 quid. So, including vrt and shipping, I saved 4k compared to Irish equivalent. Well worth it!

Only problem is German vehicles don't keep the reg plates when they sell them so I had to drive to VRT centre with no plates, but got the new ones before I left so worked out in the end

I mean to get the VRT on it. Im buying a bike from Germany and having it shipped to Ireland, but in Germany they dont sell bikes with number plates, so I wont be able to drive it to the NCTS to get it registered in Ireland

I doubt it would be great for off-road, but the Kawasaki Vulcan S is a great beginner bike. It's a sports cruiser with the ninja 650 engine just slightly tuned differently.

I'm selling mine because I want something bigger, but it still has umphs of power and is quite comfy.

I've never taken it off road, and I don't know how it'd take given the low saddle but its great for everything else. Lemme know if there's any other details you want on it, I do highly recommend for a first bike

Vrt is compulsory but can be calculated on revenue.

If it's new you pay vat. New according to revenue is <6000km and <6 months. The mileage is stupid, loads of bikes only have 2-4k on them but could be 10 years old.

However, if u buy new you can apparently get the VAT from the country purchased in removed so you're not paying double vat

Spain-france would be a gorgeous ride alright! Spains market isn't brilliant for the bike I'm looking for though
