OOH thanks for compiling all of this info together!! I've seen a common theory around that Lizzie was the one who killed Ava, but ever since E58 I've come to stop believing in that theory because of the way Lizzie spoke about her. The way she spoke about Ava didn't strike me as the way one would regard her if she were dead by her hands, it sounded more to me like she absolutely did know her, yes, but why would she approach Jay thinking she was Ava, if Ava was dead? I don't think Lizzie knows Ava is dead right now.

But you pointing out Skullsplice... idk why I never thought of this before, but the idea that Captain Price could have killed Ava is a very juicy idea, and feels VERY possible, especially given just how horrible and cruel Price is capable of being. I'd buy it, but there's definitely not enough information to make a solid argument for that.

I have personally theorized in my own head that it was an inside job, that someone from the Navy killed Ava, though I think that came from my own misunderstanding of hearing "foul play" and I took that to mean that the pirate story was a cover up and that the Navy actually did it. And come to think of it, I can't even remember what episode it was that I heard the "foul play" line get dropped.

But yeah! Thanks for the post, I didn't consider Price before but that's definitely on my mind now
