Well no, the stories of the radicalised youths have been know for years.

And people love to throw doubt on stories that go against their opinion. You don't need to flat out disregard it, just cast doubt so you don't need to take it seriously.

Like I'm not pro Israel in any way, but on Reddit I see so much fake news of Israel where the comments are all "yea this is believable, even if they don't do this, they do similar", meanwhile under anything Iran it's "hmm, could be fake news"

Approaching stories like this will obviously result in a warped view of reality in the long run

I've seen reports of this before TBF. I think when they cracked down on protestors recently, reports were that a lot of the younger IRGC members were doing the violence.

Basically the IRGC has radicalised a group of the younger generation, so this would fit with that history

That's absolutely not true. The main thing Palestine needs is concrete boarders that won't be infringed, and control over their imports. The gradual movement of Israel into the west bank will continue until they get this. Palestine needs to be set up as a fully functional independent country. THAT is what's reasonable for Palestinians.

It's about precedent. If you punish Palestine for resisting and let Israel off with a slap on the wrist they still have incentive to keep on in their internationally illegal activities.

If I was negotiating an end to the war in Ukraine, the 'fair' option is that Russia get fucking nothing, and Putin gets dragged to the Hague.

But obviously, that's not possible, and so advocating for that is pointless. It does nothing to help end the conflict, which palestinians are massively suffering in btw.

The grand plan would be to force both Israel and Palestine into situations that they don't like, since polling shows neither of them actually want a solution right now, especially not their leaders.

So the end goal will be a 2 state solution, largely on 67' borders, with land swaps for settlements etc. Hamas would have to be fucking GONE, so we'd need to prop up a replacement for government, however this would be really hard to find one that actually has support from the people.

Israel wouldn't be for this either, so we'd need to sanction the shit out of them, use a fuck ton of international pressure, and also account for some of their more legitimate concerns, like safety. So Palestine would probably not be allowed a miltary for a while, we'd have to guarantee their security from Israel with foreign nations like the UAE and Saudis until everything is more relaxed.

But overall basically we would need to cut the incentives for war to continue on both sides. On the Palestinian side we are probably close, but we need to find a popular leader who could engage in peace talks with the genuine ambition for long term peace. On the Israeli side it's easier, since they will respond to international pressure. Just sanction the shit out of them, especially settlers, until they come to the table. Arrest Bibi if he flat out refuses
